Syler Thyll
Syler Thyll is a terse, competent halfling Rogue. Syler had been a thief for most of his life, first for survival, then as a profession. He met up with the party in Fallcrest when he discovered they all had a common interest in finding Douven Staul. They traveled to Winterhaven together and he considers the other members of the group to be fairly competent at their chosen roles, if a bit reckless. Syler prefers to sneak up on opponents and strike hard from the shadows, then fade away into the night. He considers Morthos, Ethol, and Balasar to be bulls in a China shop, but capable in the long-run. He respects Tolis-Va’s stealthiness as well as his ability to deal out pain, almost on the same level that Syler himself could sneak and strike.
Syler was slain by Kalarel on 28 March, 103 CY in Shadowfell Keep. He was dragged through the dark rift by the claws of the Thing in the Portal, only to be expelled once Kalarel himself fell to the halfling’s allies and suffered Orcus’ wrath. Balasar carried the rogue’s body back to Winterhaven.
