Shadows of San Francisco
The dark mirror of the City by the Bay that exists in the World of Darkness is a bit less free-spirited and the parts that shine brightly in this world are more tarnished there.
The facades of the Painted Ladies are cracked and faded. The famous fog that haunts the city never completely goes away. The bridges loom stoically over the cold waters of the Bay. Nobody goes into the Park past sundown. Many buildings have spires, and gargoyles perched on their ledges, and the architecture in general seems to quietly whisper memories of bygone decades to itself and anyone who stops to listen.
