Episode Four, Prelude

Andromeda Spiridakos

Compel: Daughter of Aphrodite, Bearer of Katoptris

It has been a little over a month now since your destruction of David Akon, and his mad plan to destroy New york with his Scourge Plague. You still awake from nightmares based on the scenarios you and the others had run through, had you failed. It has only been because of Siobhan, that you have maintained your sanity. Well, her and work.

You took Siobhan with you on your last photo shoot, this on in Milan, Italy. Three weeks on the Italian coast, in an Angel’s Swimwear shoot for Victoria’s Secret. The job came as a relief, ensuring you that your job remained safe and secure. You both needed the time away from the craziness (and monsters) of New York, even if it did mean you had to fly alone (as she took the Ways through the NeverNever to avoid the risk of flying).

You and Siobhan have been back in New York now for a week, and you are just beginning to think your life is returning to normal. You are touching up your makeup, as you and Siobhan prepare for a night out at Studio 54, when the phone rings.

Reluctantly, you answer. The voice on the other end speaks, “Andromeda Spiridakos? You may not know me, but I need your help. My name is Jennifer Smith.”

You do not recognize the voice, but the power behind it is unmistakable as that of a being of mythology. You also know that name. it was in your briefings back at Camp Halfblood, before you moved to Manhattan. Jennifer Smith is in reality, the muse, Calliope.

“My help? What can I do?” you respond. After all, the Muses are connected to the arts, and to the Olympians. Your curiosity is piqued, as is your sense of duty.

“I..can’t explain this very well over the phone, but, well, something is weakening me. Can you come to my lodgings in 5Pointz tomorrow afternoon, say about 4 PM?”

Your concern is evident as you agree to the meeting. Jennifer Smith continues, “Also, please, bring your friends. You know the ones I mean. The ones who helped you deal with Lazarus.”

You are a bit surprised at her knowledge of your associates, but you agree. Jennifer thanks you and the call ends. As you hang up the phone, Siobhan emerges form the bedroom, and notices the look of concern on your face, “What’s the matter?” she asks.

You look up, “I don;t know, but I have a bad feeling about this.” you then explain to her the meeting tomorrow, and Calliope’s request.

“I think you should go to the meeting. Contact the others, but be quick about it. We have dancing to do tonite.”

You quickly make the rounds, contacting each of your ‘associates’, finding it a bit more than coincidental that many of them already have knowledge of the situation. They all agree to meet up with Jennifer, and you look at Siobhan as you end your last call.

“All set?” she asks. You nod your head. She then grabs your hand and drags you form the apartment, "Good. Then lets go enjoy tonite, before you get dragged into another world saving effort.

Charles Fisher

Compel: Professor of the White Council

It has been a little over a month now since your destruction of David Akon, and his mad plan to destroy New york with his Scourge Plague. The week following Akon’s defeat, you and Patricia spent together, cleaning up the remnants of Akon’s minions. While his death destroyed most of his undead, the two of you discovered several pockets of zombies, now mindlessly doing whatever, throughout the City. You both felt it was best if you denied The Mastwer accdess to such resources, and destroyed them.

Two weeks following Akon’s death, Violet Marten returned to New york. She showed up at the doorstep of your home one evening, to ‘run you through the basics of wardening’. She also interrupted a romantic dinner you and Patricia were having that night, but you felt duty bound to hear her out. Patricia remained, and you got the feeling she didn’t like Violet too much. You wrote it off though to jealousy though, considering that a good part of Violet’s discussions included some fairly blatant attempts to flirt with you, and your ego felt the better for it. The meeting boiled down to ’I’m the Senior Warden, and don;t argue with me’ talk from Violet. After Violet departed, you were fairly certain you and she were going to come to loggerheads over several issues.

The past two weeks, you have spent in a fruitless effort to locate The Master, or any of Akon’s materials that were taken. You are positive that The Master used you and the others as pawns to eliminate Akon and to get Akon’s research. Unfortunately, you have very little else to go on, other than Akon’s assumption that The Master is Cowl, an assumption that after your brief meeting with The Master, you feel is an incorrect one. Description of Cowl in Council Records are vague beyond the whole ‘Darth Bathrobe’ dubbing of Harry Dresden, but all accounts agree his voice was much like that of Vincent Price. The Master sounded much more like James Earl Jones. One thing is certain in your mind though, you’re not seen or heard the last of The Master.

Your thoughts this evening, as you prepare for an evening at the Metropolitan Opera with Patricia, are interrupted by the phone ringing. When you answer, a voice says, “The Sun is shining”. You recognize this as the code for a Warden related call, and respond back, “But the Ice is Slippery”.

After giving the proper response, the Italian accented voice on the phone continues, “Warden Fisher, this is Captain Luccio. The White Council has received a request of assistance from a most unusual source, and after discussion between myself and the Senior Council, it was agreed that this task fell much more into your areas of expertise than that of Warden Marten.”

The Commander of the Wardens pauses for a moment, then continues, “The Greek Muse, Calliope, has requested White Council assistance. She claims someone or something, is draining her power, and desires our assistance in determining the cause and helping her remedy the situation. She goes by the guise of Jennifer Smith, a denizen of 5Pointz in New york, and a meeting can be arranged. Unfortunately, that is all the information we have at this time. Contact Ms. Smith and arrange a meeting and discover the source of the power drain.”

You agree and after clarifying a few points, end the call. You reach for a phone book, to look up Jennifer Smith’s phone number, when your phone rings again. this time, it’s Andromeda, requesting your accompany her (and apparently the rest of ‘the gang’ to a meeting with the Muse, Calliope. Not believing in coincidences one bit, you agree to meet with Andromeda and the others tomorrow afternoon, then return to finish your preparations and meet up with Patricia for the evening.

David Lytton

Compel: Why does this weirdness always Happen to me

It has been a little over a month now since your destruction of David Akon, and his mad plan to destroy New york with his Scourge Plague. After recovering from your injuries, you decided to relax, and spent some quality time with Serena, time which included assisting her with her work. You and she only recently returned to New York, after a lengthy visit to Vancouver, where you helped her ‘acquire’ some rare antiques from the museum there. Serena claims they are quite valuable, and some are even potentially dangerous. You trust her opinion, considering your more recent experiences, even if you do find it odd that she sends some of the ‘home’ and the others she arranges buyers for.

You did enjoy the time though. Simple, straightforward, and no monsters or wizards, or vampires of the purple court, trying to kill you. No bullet wounds, and no rushed jobs. Serena treated you professionally on the job, letting you do things at a pace which made you comfortable and let you successfully acquire the items she needed. It also let you spend plenty of time with Serena, enjoying the city and it’s sights, but even more so, the company.

Tonite though, you are buy yourself. You planned on a relaxing evening of Television and books, with some beer and snacks, when the phone rings. Answering it, you recognize the voice of Andromeda. Immediately, you grow concerned, and her reason for the call is even more cause for concern on your part. Frighteningly enough, The Shower Whisperer seems to be making sense for once. She’s calm, and asks you to accompany her, and apparently the rest of ‘the gang’, to a meeting with one Jennifer Smith, who she claims in a muse named Calliope. After discussing it with Andromeda for several minutes, she persuades you, reluctantly, to join the others for the meeting tomorrow afternoon.

(The session will begin the afternoon of Saturday, May 11, 2013)

Jane Louise Blue

Compel: Loves a good story

It has been a little over a month now since your destruction of David Akon, and his mad plan to destroy New york with his Scourge Plague. After filling out the mountain of paperwork at The Agency (which Cameron finished in 1/2 the time it took you, much to your chagrin), you took some well deserved time off. Your superiors were concerned at your report details showing that ‘the Master’ had gotten away with all of Akon’s research, but the disaster was averted for now, and thankfully, The Director had assigned two other agents, Agents James Edwards III and Axel Foley, to look into ‘The Master’. Considering the two agents had taken care of the mess at Riker’s Island caused by Akon’s ‘thralls’, you felt it was well handled.

You spent the two weeks following Akon’s defeat getting in some quality time with Chuck, exploring your geekier side, as he introduced you to some of his esoteric hobbies, including his addiction to Galaxies of Starcraft. while you didn’t get addicted to the game, you enjoyed it, though you did learn to share his hatred of a max level Protoss Templar named Jayne, who kept destroying you both in PVP.

The past two weeks were relatively uneventful, except for the surprise visit from your parents, and your first involuntary foray into The Game.

Your parents apparently saw you at the Gala broadcast, and, using their skills and contacts, learned of where you were. The reunion was a happy one, if a surprise to you. You spent several days with them, playing NYC tour guide during the day, and having long conversations with them in the evening. They left, off on yet another mission, just as your three week vacation came to an end.

On your way to the office this morning, your immortal sense went off. Thinking it was probably another agent like yourself, as you were in The Agency’s parking garage, you paid it little mind, until you caught the reflection of a 20-something black man with a sword, in the elevator doors. You quickly dodged the attack, pulling your sword from your Messenger Bag, and an extensive sword fight ensued, ending only when you took his head. Lightning flashed, ‘music blared’ and you experienced your first Quickening. This, and the damage in the garage, of course, necessitated another lengthy report be filed. A report, which, is why you are late getting home from work, on a Friday, no less.

As you enter your apartment, contemplating whether you feel like cooking or ordering dinner out, your phone rings. Answering it tiredly, you recognize the voice as Cameron’s.

“Jane? I’ll keep this short as I know you got home late. Romy just called. There’s problems with the Muse Calliope. Didn’t even know she lived in New York, but apparently, she does. She wants Romy’s help, and ours. Also, seems Winter is interested, as Terri just got this…Oh stop it Terri, she’ll find out tomorrow anyhow. Sorry, Terri’s barking at me again. Where was I? Oh, yes…The Winter queen wants Terri to look into Calliope’s problem.” Cameron goes on for several minutes more and ends with giving you a time and place to meet up with the others, tomorrow, before she ends the call.

Tiredly, you collapse into a chair and order take out to be delivers, curiosity about tomorrow restoring alertness to your brain.

Terri Foster

Compel: D.A.‘s Hound, Lea’s Bitch

It has been a little over a month now since your destruction of David Akon, and his mad plan to destroy New york with his Scourge Plague. You don’t know what you find more satisfying, the final annihilation of Risa Hirano, or the end of the Scourge Plague that Akon had designed. You spent some time in recovery from your injuries, (time which was made easier with Dragonfly visiting you repeatedly) but you have finally returned home. The previous evening you spent with Cameron and Dragonfly, Cameron recounting the date that V.S. took her on, and you and Dragonfly giving the young woman more advice on how to proceed.

Friday evening rolls around, and you return to your apartment, with a smile on your face, another hard day of work in the D.A.’s office behind you. You open the door, and smell a wonderful dinner cooking. Cameron is at it again, apparently. You are surprised though, as she is seemingly not alone. You hear Cameron obviously speaking with someone in the kitchen, and it does not sound like a telephone conversation.

You walk into the kitchen, seeing Cameron at the stove, cooking dinner, as you expected. Sitting at the kitchen table however, is a young woman who’s presence sends chills down your spine. A beautiful young woman with dreadlocks dyed in different shades of pale blue, green, and purple, sits talking to Cameron. She’s wearing jeans tight enough to have been painted on, Knee high black leather boots, and a t-shirt that says ‘your boyfriend wants me’. Maeve, the Winter Lady, smiles as she sees you enter, the gold stud in her nose shining in the light, her cat-like eyes shining.

“Ah, Terri. Your charming roommate here was just keeping me company while I awaited your return home.”

Your senses scream immediately that something is wrong. Maeve is NEVER this polite. You sit down at her gesture, asking her, politely, why she is in your apartment.

“I am here at the bidding of The Queen. A request for assistance from a valued ally has been submitted to The Winter Court, and after consulting with her Handmaiden, it was decided that you were the best bitch for the job.”

You shake your head. Mab, Maeve, AND Lea all agreeing to use you for something, can only mean bad news.

You motion for The Winter Lady to continue. “I volunteered to bring the missive myself, as I was…curious, about how you fared. That, and I wanted to see for myself, the one who melted the dragonfly’s heart. A strong rival has been weakened by your actions, and I felt that delivering this task to you myself, rather than your mother delivering it, was the least I could do as recompense.”

Maeve smiles again, handing you a very official looking scroll, encased in a tube of ice. The ice melts at your touch, the scroll unrolling, as it begins to speak in a deep, resonating, voice (sounds like the admiral form Mass Effect/Goliath from Gargoyles.)

“Terri Foster, Hound of Winter, is charged by Her Majesty, The Winter Queen, to answer the request of assistance by the Muse, Calliope. The Winter Queen values the assistance the Muse Calliope has given the Winter Court in past endeavors, and she, and her advisers, feel strongly that The Hound is the perfect means to properly repaying the debt owed the Muse. In exchange, should The Hound be successful in completing the task set before her, The Winter Queen will absolve The Winter Hound of all debt accrued to both The Queen’s Hand as well as that debt owed to the Handmaiden, The Leananshidhe.”

The scroll’s speech ends, and Cameron looks at you questioningly, as she dishes up a wonderful dinner of Chicken Parmigiana and Garlic Bread. It is obvious that the Android is curious, but has learned to not ask about things related to Winter, unless you wish to share them. Dinner is consumed in relative silence, as you consider your best course of action, as well as the words of both the Missive, and of Maeve.

As Cameron begins to clean up from dinner, your phone rings. You ignore it, only to have Cameron answer it on the third ring.

“Hello? Romy. How are you? What? Yes…hold on a moment, I’ll get her.”

Cameron then moves next to your chair, handing you a second phone, “Take it. It’s Andromeda. She needs to speak to us both, about going to a meeting with her tomorrow, to talk to someone named Jennifer Smith. She says Jennifer Smith is the Muse, Calliope.”

The last statement catches your attention and you take the phone, listening to Andromeda’s explanation. Before you can agree to go, Cameron chimes in, “Of course we’ll help Romy. I’ll call Jane for you as well and fill her in. Where do you want to meet?”

A meeting is arranged for tomorrow evening, and Andromeda hangs up. You look at Cameron, slightly angered at her answering for you both.

“What? You and Andromeda are on the same task, and therefore it was logical to agree to go. Also, she is a friend, and I always help my friends. So do you. And finally, it was obvious she was contacting the rest of ‘the gang’, so, I might as well contact Jane. She is my partner, after all, and it saves Romy a call.”

V.S. Ramachandran

Compel: Everyone comes to the Flame (of Knowledge)

It has been a little over a month now since your destruction of David Akon, and his mad plan to destroy New york with his Scourge Plague. The two weeks after Akon’s defeat, were spent with you recovering from your injuries. Daily, Cameron came to visit you, concern for you on her face. More than once she apologized for now being able to keep you from being injured, and you assured her it was not her fault. Several times, Dolores accompanied her, and it was obvious that Cameron and her were becoming friends.

When you returned from recovery, you discovered that Cameron and Dolores had spent the time you were recovering, cleaning and re-organizing The Flam of Knowledge, just as you had envisioned doing with them. You thanked them both, and they both seem touched by your praise of their efforts.

Your Broadway date with Cameron went splendidly, and did not end with her killing anyone, or anything trying to rip off your face. Surprisingly, it went as well as you imagined, and you found yourself, for the first time, seeing Cameron as a woman and not a killing machine.

The past several days have been spent idly enjoying your collection and taking care of customers, with the occasional visit from Cameron, who seems more than eager to help Dolores around the shop. Friday evening rolls around, and Cameron and Dolores have just departed, the android giving Dolores a ride home, when a woman enters. The woman is about 5’10", long blonde hair, blue eyes, and a very curvy figure beneath a modest pair of jeans and white blouse.

You look at her, telling her the shop is about to close for the evening. She smiles, and the look on her face seems…inspirational. Your mind swirls with thoughts and ideas, the urge to paint or write, racing through your brain. She sees the expression on your face and looks away. As she does, the ‘inspirational thoughts’ die down.

“I’m sorry for that. I seem to be losing control over what power remains to me.”

You look at her, confused at her statement.

“I know you’re closing soon, Mr. Ramachandran. But, you’re one fo the few people I know of who might be able to help me.”

Oh no, you think, here we go again. You look around to make sure the emergency exit is not blocked.

“My name is Jennifer Smith. Well, that’s the name everyone knows me by her in New york. my real name is Calliope. I’m one of the Muses.”

If you hadn;t gotten hit with the wave of inspiration, you might doubt that statement. You motion for her to continue.

“I have a problem. Something, or someone, has been siphoning my power. Weakening me, and lessening my ability to control it. Please…can you help me?”

The tone of her voice is one of desperation, and you find yourself agreeing to help her.

“Oh, thank you. I have to go now. I can;t remain away from 5Pointz for every long in my current state. I contacted one of your friends, Andromeda, and she also agreed to help. She;s meeting with me at my home, tomorrow afternoon. So, I guess I’ll see you there?”

You nod, and the Muse grabs you, and quickly thanks you again, planting a red lipstick kiss on your right cheek, before she leaves.

Shortly after she departs, you lock the front door and make your way up to your apartment, only to hear your phone ringing. You answer it, and discover it is Andromeda, contacting you about Calliope’s predicament. Having already told the muse you would help her, you quickly agree to Andromeda’s request of meeting, arranging a time to meet up tomorrow afternoon.

Episode Three Session Seven

Session Synopsis
Episode Three, Session 7 Synopsis
Terri took V.S. and Charles to meet with Johnathan Windtalker,
Lenape Shaman, and learned how the Lenape will be needed to cast
the Black Court imprisonment spell. The Lenape will perform a Ghost
Dance to gather the necessary power and then Charles will hold it
until it is needed.

The group debated how to find where in Green-Wood Cemetery Akon was
located, and possible means of finding where. As the others pursued a
means of finding where Akon was, V.S., Charles, and Terri began

researching how to break Akon’s control over The Hendriksen Scourge.

Meanwhile, Andormeda tried to connect to the Cemetaries Camera sstem while David wne to scope out the Cemetery and try to locate Akon’s location. David found that the older part of the cemetary (dating back to the 1700s) Apparently had ‘suffered damage from Hurricane Sandy’ as well as many dead birds and squirrels. He also found several tracks leading towards the oldest and largest tomb. At the same time, Andromeda hacked her way into the cemetaries camera system, just in time to see three Elder Zombies (Revolutionary War Soldiers) emerge from the tomb and take aim at David. Andromeda quickly called David, in time for him to see the zombies and run.

David made his way to Brooklyn House, and buzzed the house as the large albino alligator emerged from the swimming pool and made it’s way towards David. Susanna Hoffman emerged from the building, shouting “Phillip, back into your pool!” and the gator, looking distraught, returned to his pool. Susanna came up to the gate, and let David inside after introductions. Susanna led him to the Library, where she served tea and crumpets. He then explained the situation, and asked for help. Susanna said, “I can promise you all the help The House of Life can give. Shall we go?” She then explained that the rest of the House was answering a call from Osiris and she was all that was available.

Two days later, Charles, V.S., and Terri completed their research on the rituals needed. Charles then contacted Dr Patricia Fairlane to fill her in on the situation. During this conversation, she relayed to him that she also had been entrusted with a Gray Cloak and Warden Sword for Charles, if he was willing. He responded how honored he would be. When Patricia arrived, Charles gladly accepted the honor of Newcastle’s Blade and a Warden’s cloak. Patricia was also very happy to see Charles, and demonstrated this aptly. Patricia and Siobhan Chu volunteered to perform the ritual to free the Black Court from Akon’s control. After the two fmailiarized themselves with the Ritual, all notes on the ritual were destroyed.

During the past two days, news covered the extent of random power outages through the Five Boroughs, including the FAA closing the three airports due to Air Traffic Control Towers, as well as numerous ghost sightings throughout the city.

The group, including Patricia and Susanna, went to meet with Saundra at The Flame of Knowledge that evening. Saundra surmised the research was completed, and the group began discussing when to go, deciding on an evening assault. V.S. demonstrated a complete outlook of complete despondence, convinced of the group’s failure. David surmised the best place for the group to wait while Saundra scoped the location, signaling them when best to attack.

V.S. expressed concern for the mental defenses of everyone, and in response, Susanna provided everyone with some mental defenses.

At 9PM, the rituals were prepared and Akon’s control of the Scourge was broken. Saundra reported that Hendricksen and his fellows were attacking Akon, and at 9:30, it was determined as the best time to assault Akon. Charles released the held power of the Lenape Ghost Dance, and triggered the imprisonment ritual, destroying the lesser blacks and imprisoning the Elder vampires in the crystals beneath Ground Zero.

The group assaulted Akon and his guard outside the mausoleum that David had indicated, and combat ensued. The battle opened with the enthralled Alleria Windrunner firing at Andormeda, two arrows hitting her. Two of the zombies emerged from buildings and one attacked Jane, bouncing off her armor. Saundra opened fire on Alleria, hitting her. More zombies emerged, one swinging a cavalry sabre at V.S., hitting him, the other doing the same to Andromeda and missing her. David took to the shadows, hiding for those who ‘might be shooting at him’. Andromeda attacked the zombie on her, hitting with Kaoptris. The spectre of Risa Hirano appeared next to Terri, grasping for her throat, grasping her and inflicting damage to Terri’s mind. Akon emerged from the Mausoleum, deducing magically who broke his control of the Black Court, causing undead hands to thrust form the ground around Charles, clawing his legs. V.S. took cover at the nearest Mausoleum as Cameron took a step back from the zombie and opened fire with her M-16, damaging it. Jane swung her sword at the zombie in front of her, slashing it’s belly. The Lich appeared closer to the group and a explosion of flame engulfed them all, damaging all, and causing mild burns on some. Susanna ‘summoned’ Nephythys, a 20’ tall ‘holographic’ egyptian woman in white robes armed with an Egyptian crook appreaing around her, and assaulted the lich. The Spectre of Oliva materialized and attacked V.S., who froze in fear as Olivia’s arms wrapped around his neck. Terri attacked Risa’s spectre, taking additional debt, frying Risa. Three more zombies emerged, attacking V.S., Susanna, and Cameron, Cameron suffering minor damage. Charles armored himself against more damage.

Alleria then fired at Susanna, arrows slamming into the ‘holographic’ goddess. Another zombie attacked Susanna, tearing a chunk form Nephthys’ left leg. The zombie on Jane continued it’s attack on Jane, hitting her. Saundra repositioned, and put a round through the skull of the zombie on V.S. A second zombie attacked Cameron, missing. David emerged from cover, slipping across the battlefield, behind Akon, destroying the rusted hinges on the mausoleum door, to fall onto Akon, injuring him. Akon retaliated by summoning skeletal arms form the ground to assault David, Gashing his left leg and breaking his left ankle. Andromeda attempted to reach Olivia, reducing the spectre to tears. The lich changed positions, appearing above one of the mausoleums, engulfing the group (minus David) in flames, singing Andromeda’s arm, severely injuring Terri (3rd degree burns on her body and broken right arm), rendering her right arm inoperable. Cameron stepped back form the zombie on her, and riddled it with bullets. V.S., in retaliation to the damage to Cameron (new aspect, self compel), causing lava to rise form the mausoleum roof and engulf the lich (1 pt backlash, bumped on compel on Everyone come to the Flame (of Knowledge) to 3), destroying the lich. Susanna summoned the Phoenix, which was more than David could take and caused him to find a place to hide (Concession). Terri snapped off a blast of cold at Akon, hitting him. The two remaining zombies continued to attack Susanna, inflicting enough damage to cause Nepthys to flicker. Charles, seeing the threat to Susanna, summoned his cannons at the two zombies, killing both zombies. Alleria popped up and fired two arrows at V.S, the arrows piercing his chest and collapsing his left lung. Saundra fired off at Alleria, missing. Akon threw his hands in the air and shouted, “Arise” the slain zombies slowly moving to their feet again. Andromeda, seeing this, charged Akon with Katoptris, missing. Cameron repositioned and fired at Al=kon, missing. V.S. magically shielded Cameron. Jane charged Akon, injuring him with her sword. Terri fired her final spell at Akon, left arm became frostbitten. Charles summoned his spectral hands, rendering Akon unconscious, however, the zombies rose up and attacked. Alleria retaliated, firing at Charles, his armor absorbing the arrows. Saundra put a bullet through Akon’s skull, his zombies collapsing upon his death, and the spectre of Olivia vanishing. Realizing Alleria was still active, Andromeda spoke to the air, trying to convince her to cease the combat. Cameron fired at Alleria, hitting her in the shoulder. V.S. fired off a spell of mental fire on Alleria, rendering her unconcious.

Cameron immediately raced to V.S. , cutting the haft of the arrow from him with Andromeda’s help. Charles raced downstairs in time to see a portal closing to the NeverNever closing on The Master, who was leaving, saying in a deep bass voice to Charles, “Thank You”. It was obvious to Charles, that “The Master” had cleaned out Akon’s sanctum while the Necromancer was dealing with the Black Court and the group. Charles recalled that Cowl, who Akon assumed was The MAster, had more of an altoish voice, according to White Council Records.

Andromeda looked over Alleria, and she and Charles deduced that when she awoke, the High Elf would probably be completely insane. The group decided to take Alleria to Dr. Donald Blake, son of Hermes, and Psycho therapist, Charles and Andromeda took Alleria to Dr. Blake

Session Synopsis
Episode Three, Session 6 Synopsis
Group continued their discussion in The Flame of Knowledge
discussing using Anita Hendrikssen’s corpse to help counteract
the spell Akon was using to control the Hendriksen Scourge.
Terri pointed out that the spell could be used for them to
control the Scourge, and Charles was staunchly against this. While
this was going on, David put his hand in his pocket and discovered
that The Pink Panther Diamond had appeared in his pocket, and
realizing it was there, he quickly pulled it out of his pocket
to look at it (Unknown Aspect: Gollum Syndrome). Just as this happened,

Dolores buzzed V.S. to let him know there were people in the store. When he got downstairs, he discovered four men in grey Warden Cloaks. V.S. asked why they were there and they responded they were searching for contraband. He then asked regarding the report of materials they spoke of, and asked if “Warden Violet filed the report” and Terri was able to tell they were lying when the leader (Joseph Rodriguez)

Joseph Rodriguez

said yes. Terri then went back upstairs. V.S. let the Wardens begin looking over the stacks. Terri quickly said “Trouble, liars downstairs” and then returned to the shop downstairs. Jane proceeded downstairs, followed by the others (except David). Charles noticed that there was something off with the Wardens. He then looked at them with the sight and saw a cloud of inky blackness floating over their heads with puppet strings connecting to each of them. He was also able to discern that the control was from a Black Court vampire. He also caught a glimpse of Dolores, and saw she looked like herself as an ’In-Nomine Malakim". David eventually came down to see the rest of the group kibitzing at the bottom of the stairs. Terri and then Charles, harangued one of the Wardens, and then Joseph Rodriguez. When Charles accused him of being under the control of the Black Court, he said they were there under the orders of Captain Luccio to investigate the store.

Terri left, and went to a nearby alleyway, summoning a winter sprite. The sprite, who when asked identified herself as Druscillia (and looked like Tinkerbell wearing spiked black Full Plate Armor), took the peanut butter and celery offered and agreed to follow the Wardens when they leave and report back. After they left, V.S. searched his shop, discovering a 1/2 dozen black opals ingrained into the wood. A quick check magically, and V.S. deduced hat hey were enchanted to provide the person who enchanted the opals the ability to influence the minds of all those inside the building. Jane, Andromeda, and David started to leave, but really decided they liked it there. Meanwhile Terri, felt compelled to re-enter The Flame, but just before she did, decided against it. Terri called Jane, and discovered that Jane heard something about compulsion, not wanting to leave, and that Jane was going back upstairs. Terri then called Charles, who explained the situation. While V.S. went looking for a screwdriver, Terri saw the manhole cover in the street lift up and a zombie emerge, who had apparantly died in the early 1900s. V.S. tried prying the opal from the shelf and the screwdriver bent. Charles asked Cameron to leave, but she said she didn’t want to leave. David removed one of the shelves with the opals, causing the entire shelf to dump its contents on him. Charles then threw the shelf out the door, followed by the others doing the same. Terri hurried into the Flame, as more zombies emerged from the sewer and ‘Thriller’ began to echo from one of the buildings, the group began to prepare for battle.

David opened fire on one of the zombies through the glass of a painted shut window. Cameron, hearing the gun fire, rushed downstairs, and asked V.S. what was wrong. V.S. explained to her briefly, as Andromeda fired at the same zombie through the second floor window (breaking the glass). Terri looked out the windows and filled the street with 3 ft of snow. Jane moved next to Andromeda, firing through the same window at the zombie that Andromeda fired at. V.S. conjured a ball of fiery imps that exploded amongst the zombie’s, which he lost control of (compel on Asps, very dangerous to force fallout, 1pt to 3pts from Defensive Fire. 3pts to 5pts from Terri’s self compel of “Hound of Ill Omen”) and the imps damaged the zombies, as well as exploding Terri’s motorcycle, Andromeda’s car, and the other 6 cars parked on the street. The explosions shattered all the windows on the nearby buildings, hurling Andromeda and Jane back from their windows and David from his into a shelf behind him causing a domino effect of falling shelves (like in the mummy). Charles brushed glass from himself and conjured a spectral firing squad which damaged the remaining zombies. The zombies advanced on the building, one bursting through the window of the shop and swinging at V.S. A spectre rose through the floor in front of Terri (the spectre of Saundra Smythe‘s daughter, Olivia) which grabbed Terri around the throat. David moved to fire on the zombie in the shop, fell over fallen books, and tumbled down into V.S.’s laboratory (self compel, Curse of the Pink Panther from the Gem). Cameron turned her gun on the zombie on V.S. and fired, her desert eagle exploding the zombie’s head all over V.S. Andromeda fired on the injured zombie, destroying it. Terri, a spectre in her face, let the snow melt away, activated her armor, and screamed for help. Jane pulled her sword from the bag, charged downstairs, saw the spectre on Terri, and pointed her sword at it, shouting “Olivia”. V.S. threw mental fire at the spectre, which caused the spectral child to flee the site. Charles conjured his spectral hands on the last zombie, killing it. The music stopped at almost the same instant as the last zombie died.

Jane warned the group that Emergency Services, Police, and Homeland Security would all probably be showing up due to the explosions. The group then policed their brass, as Andromeda and Terri noticed their vehicles were gone. Terri then took a wrench from the remnants of her bike and went to smash the Opals (the shelves themselves burned in the street) while Jane called the NYPD UCU and informed Detective Hubert Fuller of what happened. He told her that the Cops and Press were on their way. Terri swung her wrench at the first opal, which caused the wrench to explode with a firecracker noise, injuring her. As she recovered, Terri noticed one of the opals running along the street edge towards the sewer drain. She put her foot in front of it. Using an empty can from Jane’s bag, the group carefully collected all the opals, including the one Terri was blocking, and wrapped the can in silk.

As the group entered, Terri sent a text to Saundra, telling her “Contact me as soon as you can. Spectre of Olivia just attacked me”. Then Terri sat down on the curb and stared at the license plate of her motorcycle, continuously saying “My Bike”, while Andromeda stared at the remains of her Ferrari.

David asked V.S. about any protection in The Flame to make people clumsy. V.S. said there wasn’t any. So David begged Charles and V.S. to look at him with the Sight. They saw David in impenetrable armor, looking like ‘Inspector Clouseau’, with the gem showing in his left pocket with a Pink Panther dancing in it to the “Pink Panther Theme”. They also saw cat’s Flea Collar (made of gold) around his neck. After closing the sight, they explained this to him. Jane suggested contacting the Warehouse people, as authorities arrived. (Police, Fire, Emergency Services, Homeland Security, and Myka Bering and Pete Lattimer). Charles looked at them both with the Sight (Pete was a knight in armor painted in a Court Jester’s colors, Myka was wearing tight leather armor with a crossbow, both driven by a strong sense of purpose and nobility) as David gestured them over to them. David eagerly answered their questions, eventually dropping the Gemstone into the bag they offered, getting rid of it (freeing him from the curse). As they left, Karl Kolchak approached Terri who was still repeating “My Bike” like so kind of mantra, so he called over some EMTs who eventually led her to an ambulance and took her to the nearest hospital 9pumped up on a VERY strong tranquilizer).

Andromeda called Siobhan Chu, letting her know she was OK, telling her the fate of her car, and accepting Siobhan’s offer of a ride. V.S. complained about needing a place to stay, and Cameron offered the couch in her’s and Terri’s apartment. Jane texted Agent Ivanova an update. While the group began cleaning up the mess, they resumed their interrupted discussion of what to do, only to have it interrupted by Siobhan arriving at The Flame, shortly followed by Susanna Hoffman. Susanna said she was there because Bast delivered the groups message and she came to see what she could do to help the group.

Susanna explained she was at the Gala to protect the Mummies and the gemstone. She told the group that the gem had been put on loan to the Museum of Natural History from the Smithsonian. She explained that The House of Life had been unable to do much more as thaey had been dealing with various undead throughout the city raised by the Necromancer. She also mentioned that the necromancerhad raised a White Council mage named James Howard (Charles’s former apprentice) as a lich, and had that the necromancer had somehow created a two way conduit through Shadow, and had brought undead allies from a world he connected to.

Dolores interrupted to say Saundra Smythe was on the phone for V.S. He took the call and arranged a meeting at Noon, the next day at The Shop Around The corner. The group then discovered which hospital Terri was in and convinced Cameron to go and get her. As Cameron left, V.S. gave Susanna a copy of the Journal of David Akon Susanna then asked the group to convey her apologies to Terri, before she left.

Jane returned to her place, arranging a rendezvous and drink with Chuck Taylor, who spent the evening at her place. Andromeda returned to her apartment with Siobhan, as Cameron brought Terri home form the hospital to a now cleaned up V.S. sitting on couch. Meanwhile, Charles contacted Captain Anastasia Lucio, Warden Commander, to inform her of the status of the four wardens. The Captain confirmed she did send the Wardens to NYC, to fill in for the dead Newcastle as well as Violet Marten, who was out in the field, but that they did not have any orders to search The Flame.

The next morning, V.S. took Cameron to breakfast where he gave her the Broadway tickets. Cameron was ecstatic, and her enthusiasm embarrassed V.S. somewhat.

At Noon, Charles and Jane made sure they were in the area of the Shop, while the rest (plus Siobhan) went to meet with Saundra. Terri responded to Saundra’s questions by telling Saundra about the attack at the Flame. After this, Saundra, very bloodthirstily, stated that she wanted in on the groups take down of Akon. She then had the group call Charles, to arrange a truce until Akon is taken out and 24 hours thereafter – almost begging Charles to agree, leveraging the gang rape and murder of her daughter, and explaining how she did what she did and became what she became to make those who killed her daughter pay, and she wanted to make sure that Akon paid for what he did to her daughter. Charles, moved by her pleas, agreed to the truce.

Siobhan then contacted Jane and David, telling them what happened, and then left. As Siobhan departed, she told the others, “the White Council will be well represented with Charles here”.

The group then began sharing their plans with Saundra. Jane then shared his information about Jesus Martinez and his freedom, as well as the involvement of Cowl. The group arranged to meet that evening, at The Shop, to further plan and share information.

Session Synopsis
Episode Three, Session 5 Synopsis
(Minor Milestone rewarded for last session)

(Session resumed with meeting with The Director)

Jane brought up the Jesus Martinez situation to The Director, discovering
that The Agency relocated Martinez from their holding facility beneath
their HQ to the facility beneath Rikers Island.

In response, Charles opened his Sight, and examined Jane, who remained

unchanged, but noticed that he had apparently opened himself to Outsider influence, apparently when he utilized Jennifer Vanderbilt’s laptop to locate her.

Charles asked The Director about the ‘minor magical abilities’ attributed in the journal to High Elves. She said that minor magical abilities were common where she comes from. As she spoke, her eyes glowed blue and a strange magical symbol appeared on her forehead, and healed the burns on V.S.’s arm.

The Director then excused herself and left. The group spent some additional time discussing where they should discuss things, as Andromeda was concerned their meeting at the Shop Around The corner and The Flame of Knowledge were making them predictable. Charles proposed the group finding an apartment to use.

As the group began to break up, Charles received a call from Aspen who informed him that something ‘icky’ was happening at Cleopatra’s Needle in Central Park and thought he might want to look into it.

At the same time, Jane received a call from Captain Laura Moonsinger of the Central Park Precinct, who was calling Jane as she was unable to reach Lt. Susan Ivanova who asked her to see if she could verify if Alleria Windrunner (aka Lucy Windrunner) had been seen in the Park. She informed Jane that ‘the locals’ in the Park had seen Lucy over the past few days near the area of Cleopatra’s Needle, and one reported Lucy fighting a ‘demon’ the previous morning.

Cameron and Jane went to The Agency to get Cameron her Agency ID. After they left, V.S. asked Terri what kind of music Cameron liked, and Terri mentioned that Cameron tended to listen to Classical and Broadway when she was cooking breakfast. V.S. then went out and purchased two tickets to “The Lion King” for Saturday night.

The group decided to meet at 6:30 at Cleopatra’s Needle. Andromeda delivered her copy of Journal of David Akon to the Olympians at the Empire State Building. Charles returned to his Apartment in the City, and called Ebeneezar McCoy, filling him in briefly on the Demon Summoner, which cause McCoy to laugh and then express some dumbfoundedness at how quickly and desperate Clemente was. He then told him about Akon and his plans for the Plague as well as Cowl’s presence. He then told them about the multiple copies (missing the spells). McCoy expressed concern about the Olympian goddess Hecate, discovering the existence of the spells. McCoy mentioned that Violet Marten has been recalled temporarily, due to events in Edinburough, and that Charles was the closest thing to a Warden in NYC. Charles then asked how to deal with his Outsider Influence, and McCoy said he would need Jessica Vanderbilt to reverse the effects of the Ward she had placed upon her laptop.

At 6:30 PM, the group met up at Cleopatra’s Needle. Andromeda did not feel comfortable around the area, even though she felt some type of connection to the Roman aspects of the Needle. Terri investigated around it, discovering that some kind of fluid recently (within a day or so) splattered against the Obelisk. V.S. discovered the Obelisk was a key to opening a portal to either some part of the NeverNever sacred to the Egyptian Pantheon or the Roman Pantheon. As they did this, Jane felt like someone was watching the group, and Charles looked around, hearing her whisper, and saw two 20 somethings that seemed to be taking a more than normal interest in the group. Charles opened the sight on the couple, seeing that both were Creatures of Shadow (Ogres) with an aura of death magic around them, which also changed their Shadow Glamour, making them look like athletic 20 somethings rather than bodybuilders.. V.S. meanwhile, looked at the obelisk with his sight, determining that the obelisk had been used to open a portal directly to Osiris Judgment Chamber. While this was happening, Andromeda by a group of college guys recognized Andromeda, and began hitting on her. Charles came up to see if there was trouble, the guys felt unthreatened by Charles. Then Jane came up, and flashed her badge, threatening to arrest them, followed by Cameron, who asked if she could hurt them now. The drunken college student said he’d like to see that and she obliged, throwing him into a tree, which caused the other guys to back off. V.S. and Terri noticed the guy. Jane called an ambulance for the guy, and explained how the guy ran into the tree showing off for Andromeda, to which his fellows quickly agreed.

At 7 PM, the lights came on around the Obelisk. An officer asked Jane about the incident, followed shortly by an ambulance. The group then left, grabbing a pizza on their way to Charles’ apartment in the City. Upon arriving at Charles’s place, Charles explained what he saw looking at the Ogres. The group decided that they were most likely related to The Necromancer. Discussion of the obelisk ensued, V.S. sharing what he discovered the portal, including Valmarkham’s connection. The group assumed that Alleria was fighting the demon as part of her search for Clemente. An argument in the group ensued as to whether Cowl was or was not ‘The Master’. Jane then pointed out that if Martinez is now working for Cowl, it is very likely that Saundra Smythe was working for Cowl. Terri then pointed out that they have information and evidence of Saundra’s loyalty to Escobado, while they have no evidence as to whether Martinez was loyal to Escobado. Jane then pointed out to Terri, that not everyone is a fae, and that not everyone is obligated to return a favor for a favor, asking her to keep that fact in mind.

While Terri defended Saundra’s innocence in being involved with Akon or Cowl, V.S. asked Cameron to join him the next morning for breakfast and recruited her help in helping Dolores in cleaning The Flame. Jane inquired if it was possible that Kemmler, Akon, and Cowl were children of Hecate. While Andromeda said it was possible, it was highly unlikely, that as far as she knew, Halfbloods lived no longer than any normal human. Andromeda then mentioned her aversion to the Obelisk and her feeling of a connection to the Roman part of the Obelisk. This evolved into a discussion of to whether the Andromeda could be a Daughter of Aphrodite or Venus. Charles confirmed that when he and V.S. looked at Jason Spiradakos with the sight, one aspect of his revealed him in a Greek Toga, overwatched by Aphrodite, not by Venus. As the conversation continued, Andromeda revealed that she had found out she had an older sister, Jessica Devlin, who is a Daughter of Minerva. V.S. responded that she could get more information, by contacting Aphrodite, “The shower is just over there. Go forth Shower Whisperer”. Andromeda admitted that her father told her to contact Chiron, and Charles pointed out that Jessica’s presence could have been the trigger for Andromeda’s issues. Andromeda also revealed her father said she and Jessica may never get to know anyone.

After this, Charles admitted there was another issue, that he was apparently cursed. He then reminded the group of when they accessed Jessica Vanderbilt’s computer. This caused V.S. to slowly back away from the table, while Terri asked Charles if he ‘was growing tentacles in uncomfortable places’. Charles then went on to detail how he needed Jessica Vanderbilt, willing or unwilling, to resolve the situation. He revealed that all technomancers take a piece of an outsider inside themselves. Terri immediately asked if this was the technomancers in the SPUTNIK bar. Charles said yes. Charles then pointed out that they might eventually have to abscond with Jessica Vanderbilt.

The group then debated dealing with Charles’ issue, Andromeda’s issue, or Alleria Windrunner. The group debated whether to deal with the Hendriksen Scourge or with Akon. Andromeda pointed out that Akon is the biggest threat, and Charles admitted Andromeda was correct. Terri then pointed out that the possibility of Akon learning of the fake and tracing back to a Summer Fae and make a deal for the real one, is possible.

Meanwhile, during the entire the discussion, V.S. had been reading through the Scourge Spell. deduced that the spell kills quickly, the water supply could infect through ingestion or contact, the victims suffer for a day, and rise a few hours later as a drummerless, infectious (Day of the Dead) zombies, loyal to the Necromancer, obeying his will.

Charles then took track of all the copies of the journal, and verified the spells were not in any of the copies the group shared out. Charles and V.S. debated what spells form the Journal they might want to study for countermagic.

Charles recalled that if the Hendricksen Scourge was imprisoned once and could be again if the spell could be researched.

Session Synopsis
Episode Three, Session 4 Synopsis
Charles, V.S., Cameron, and David arrived at the Brooklyn Naval Yards,
and began looking around. Charles got an itch, opened his sight seeing
a modern looking home built into the hill, complete with Swimming Pool,
under a veil. After closing his sight, Charles pointed this out to the
others. V.S. asked Cameron if her sensors detected the house, and she
said no.

Charles approached the house, and as he approached he saw a giant
Albino crocodile in the swimming pool, followed shortly by an attractive

woman in a ‘catsuit’ with a vicious looking dagger on her belt, which Charles assumed was Bast, based on information from Susanna Hoffman. She approached the group, exiting the veil around Brooklyn House.

Bast

After the male members of the group put their eyes back in their heads, David addressed her, and she told them that the House members were all out trying to learn more about The Necromancer. She did admit that the House had been fighting the Necromancer for several months, mentioning that he had been able to destroy several Seals of Osiris and Anubis. She shared what little The House knew, which wasn’t much more than the group had. Charles left his contact information with Bast, and agreed to share information.

At 3PM, the two halves of the group reunited at The Flame of Knowledge, and began to share information, David sharing what little they got from Bast, and the others, led by Terri, sharing their information about the Black Court.

Debating their next move, the group discussed either going after the Black Court or the Demon Summoner. V.S. pointed out the dangers of dealing with the Demon Summoner. V.S. was very obviously afraid of dealing with such a being, getting more and more afraid. Cameron rose from her chair and began massaging his shoulders to help him relax. Terri then teasingly asked V.S. if she could have his stuff when he died, and Cameron said, “No, it’s mine” which prompted V.S. to remove her hands and go “What?” He then tried to ask Cameron what she meant, and eventually moved onto “OK. Let’s go fight the demon summoner and die!”

Jane proposed going to Clemente’s Home (one of addresses Saundra confirmed, the address the UCU already searched according to information Jane provided). Andromeda pointed out that the UCU might have already removed objects they could use as evidence. Jane then contacted Susan Ivanova, at the NYPD UCU. She asked Susan to pass on a message from Johnathan Windtalker to Captain Elissa Mazza, about how he had been trying to reach her. She then told her about the meeting with The House of Life, and then asked about items taken from Clemente’s. She also warned Susan that Clemente is an Immortal. Jane then asked Susan about what was recovered from the scene, and Susan rattled off a list of ritual items including a knife used for human sacrifice’s in his summoning rituals. V.S. thought that would be the perfect thing to use, but Susan was a bit reluctant to provide the group with a murder weapon from evidence. Jane then told her she’d call back as the group debated their next move.

The group debated using the Mage Cuffs they recovered when Siobhan Chu was captured, on Clemente. Andromeda then ‘volunteered’ herself to distract him and perhaps capture him. The difference between a Demon Summoner and a Demonologist was then discussed. Cameron pointed out that she thought they should check the other two locations, first. The group leaned more towards the spell first. The group then discussed searching the location the UCU already searched. After much more deliberation, David finally chimed up that he could slip in that night.

A long discussion then ensued discussing how to get the summoner to talk and the benefits or non-benefits of torture. Cameron pointed out that the summoner might be a mercenary and not loyal to the necromancer. This began another discussion. Jane pointed out that torture may not apply to the summoner the way it might apply to David, using him as an example. During this discussion, V.S. provided David a list of things to look for, and David departed to break in and acquire some objects from Clemente’s home. David got in and out without a hitch, then called V.S. to tell him what he acquired. David then returned with several usable objects.

While Charles and V.S. prepared to make the tracking spell, Terri went downstairs to call Forrester and Forrester Investigations regarding Windtalker’s attempts to contact them. Andromeda then tried to contact her father, Jason Spiradakos, to find out what The Watchers Council knew about the summoner, reaching his voice mail.

Half a days worth of tracking spells and armor spells, the group found Clemente,

Clemente

who promptly surrendered to the group. He then turned to Terri, begging for his life, offering the information he had if she would summon her mother, which she did. He gave the group a journal he claimed to have taken form The Necromancer as Terri summoned The Leanansidhe. He then promptly offered Lea a favor for her protection, with no negotiation whatsoever. Lea agreed and the two vanished.

As the group read through the Journal of David Akon, David and the rest asked Jane about The Agency, and what planet her boss comes from. Jane responded by spilling her life story from training at and graduating from Quantico on to CIA, waking up as an immortal, returning to the CIA, and eventually being recruited by The Agency. Never once did she call her current employers The Agency, nor did she deny she still works for the F.B.I. David suggested speaking to The Director about this plague that Alleria told Akon about. Jane demonstrated some concern regarding Jesus Martinez and his current status/location. Jane then photographed the two pages referring to The Agency, as well as the page on Alleria, and e-mailed them to Agent Ivanova. 10 seconds after sending the e-mail, Jane received a phone call from The Director, Ariadne Moskavina, and a meeting at The Shop Around The Corner was arranged for 2PM. V.S. examined the circle that Clemente had been cowering and chanting in, and that Clemente had apparently been under direct protection of Valmarkham, until his concentration was broken by the groups entrance. The group then left, David splitting off to venture to Central Park, near where Aspen dwells, disabling the cameras he found there, and called upon Lady Ariel.

He asked her about the Pink Panther, and she confirmed that Akon had the fake David had placed in the Museum, and that Akon should not be able to pierce through the glamor she put on the fake. He also was given his next task, to eliminate Akon. Finally, she advised he contact Serena Elessidil. David then left and contacted Serene who told him that the Pink Panther was in her apartment. At his request, she put it in her most secure safe.

David rejoined the group at The Flame, filling them in on the status of the gemstone. Meanwhile, Charles took pictures of each page of the journal, followed by V.S. having Dolores photocopy the book. Several other copies of Akon’s Journal were made.

At 2PM, the group met with The Director, who was having a rather cheerful conversation with Kathleen. As the group entered, Kathlheen emptied The Shop, switched the sign to “Closed”, something unprecedented, and said “Peace be with you all” before going upstairs.

The Director asked the group to keep The Agency’s existence secret. She then confirmed she was a Creature of Shadow and detailed how dangerous the plague was, telling the group how it had devastated much of the world she originated from. She asked the group to assist in dealing with this, to which most gave their assurance.

After The Director left, Andromeda mentioned that she felt she needed to bring a copy of the journal to The Olympians. Andromeda then left and took a version that did not include The Agency, and went to The Empire State Building. After Andromeda spoke with Darryl Smith, Day Guard at the ESB, Hermes came down and took the journal from Andromeda to deliver it to the Gods.

V.S. asked Charles to contact Violet Marten, and he said he would do so. Charles also contacted Bast, and provided her with a rundown of the book, warning them that they are targets. Jane provided a redacted copy to the UCU, and told Susan of the fate of Clemente.

Episode Three Session Three

Session Synopsis
Episode Three, Session 3 Synopsis
The session continued the discussion outside Yankee Stadium with
Jason Spiradakos regarding The Watchers Council. Jane Asked Jason
about her prior watcher, Anita Hendriksen, and was informed that Anita
was killed by ‘The Master’, her heart was ripped out through her chest,
and he was assigned as her replacement, since she and he had a
relationship (they had dated for some time, several years). The Watcher’s
believed that she was killed due to her bloodline, as her family could
trace her bloodline back to the original founders of New Amsterdam. The
group warned Jason about the Hendriksen Scourge, and the fact that they

were imprisoned rather than destroyed, and that the events of 9/11 freed them. Upon conclusion of the meeting, Jason got into a limousine which pulled up, which Terri noted was driven by a well dressed blonde woman, who she recognized as former-LA DA, and Jason’s law partner, Jessica Devlin.

As the group discussed all this, Terri’s cell phone rang. It was Saundra Smythe who wanted to arrange a meeting at The Shop Around The Corner, tomorrow at 1PM. Terri agreed, and invited the rest of the group to attend. This was received…mildly, by the others. This discussion caused Terri to come clean about her last meeting with Saundra. The group wanted to know why Saundra wanted to help the group. During this discussion, Jane looked at Terri, and said, “I have been studying up on the Winter Court. Who are you?” This discussion caused Terri to admit she returned Saundra’s arm to her, which caused Charles to erupt in surprise. Cameron offered to ‘have a malfunction’ if necessary. The group was not comfortable with her doing so. Additional discussion occurred, Jane pointing out that the information provided could be tainted. Terri said no one can lie to her without her knowing, that made Jane point out that ‘truth and fact are two different animals’. Cameron pointed out that perhaps the steps of Yankee Stadium was not the best place to have this discussion, and the group relocated to the Flame of Knowledge.

The discussion continued, with Charles asking “When does IT want us to be there?”. David volunteered to go, “I feel if I don’t go, a dragon would show up and drop me there.” Cameron then accessed The Shop’s database and discovered one dragon, Smauverovax, living in New York. A fact no one else was aware of.

Andromeda mentioned Dr Patricia Fairlane’s mentioning of Susanna Hoffman and Robert Sisko, and wanting to speak with Robert Sisko. Terri mentioned wanting to speak to Karl Kolchak (setup an appointment for 10AM) and wanting to speak with Susanna Hoffman this evening.

Terri arrived at Beth-Israel Hospital at 6PM. Terri flashed her D.A.‘s id. She was given the girl’s room number. Susanna was lying in her bed, idly watching ‘Two and a Half Men’. Terri got her attention and recognized when the girl looked at her with ‘The Sight’, and said ‘Anubis protect me’ as she grabbed the Ankh around her neck. Terri then asked Susanna about what happened, and she said ‘I don’t know what you mean. I was the unfortunate victim of a terrorist attack." She seemed uncomfortable speaking with Terri, who put the 68yr old woman on a respirator in the other side of the room magically asleep. Susanna still did not want to talk, calling Terri Winter repeatedly. She admitted to destroying the zombies with fire. She did not want to talk much, so, she asked Terri, “You are Winter, what is your offer?” Her, dislike of the Olympians was quite evident, as was her contempt for the Egyptian tombs being looted and their contents put into a museum. She admitted to channeling Nephyths to destroy the Zombies. She also mentioned that the Necromancer needs to sacrifice a wizard of The House of Life. In exchange for a favor at a future date, she told Terri that The House of Life they new that the necromancer was located in Brooklyn, like they were, and that he had been doing alot of work at Green-Wood Cemetery. Terri then gave Susanna her card and left.

Andromeda went to the Empire State Building, and went up to talk to Robert Sisko. After describing Susanna Hoffman to him, she asked him about Susanna, and bodyguarding her in Egypt, which he denied. Andromeda persuaded him to open up and he admitted to flying to Egypt and bodyguarding Susanna and coming back with her. He admitted to hitting on Susanna and getting a slap for his trouble. And little else.

At 11 PM, Cameron and Terri went to Dragonflys Gentlemans Club. Several guys held dollar bills to Cameron, who asked Terri why. Eventually, the guys were convinced to lay off. Terri introduced Camron and Dragonfly to each other, and called Dragonfly her friend, which evolved more into Terri admitting she was attracted to Dragonfly and Dragonfly hinted she was attracted as well to Terri. A discussion of relationships ensued. The 1/2 fae and fae began to give dating advice to the Terminatrix. Cameron admitted that she wanted it all – the white picket fence, the big wedding, everything. Cameron then left and went home, Terri spending the night with Dragonfly.

The next morning, the news was covering 12 mysterious deaths of men with records for mugging or rape, found dead in Queens and Manhattan, all seemingly killed by an animal attack.

At 10 AM, Terri arrived for her meeting with Karl Kolchak. She buttered him up a bit regarding his work, and Terri asked him about the Thermite Bomb. He mentioned that it was his discovery and the NYPD told him that it was when he asked. She then mentioned she was present at the Gala, and he asked for a statement, “It was scary as shit” was her response. He then asked her about what she knew of Susanna Hoffman. He got Terri to admit that Susanna had something to do with all this Egyptian stuff, and she hinted she found her in the elevator “Nothing human could have been in there and not got burned”

At 1PM, everyone met at The Shop around the Corner. At 1:05, Saundra entered the Shop, with both arms attached. She approached the group and asked to join them at their table. After sitting down, she mentioned that Mr. Escobado sent her to speak with them, to not rock the boat of the Cease Fire between the Courts and the Council. She then told then that while the Reds knew nothing of who the Necromancer was, they were aware of who the demon summoner was. She provided a name, Clifford Roberto Clemente, an immortal sorceror. She said she could provide them with several possible locations out near Coney Island to find him. She also said that the Necromancer had discovered the Hendriksen Scourge, who had been feeding on the denizens of The City Beneath The City, and they were fairly certain he was in the process of gaining control of the Scourge. After the group agreed to not turn the Necromancer on them, she provided them with the addresses near Coney Island and promised to provide any additional information they discovered. Saundra then left, grabbing a parasol she left by the door on her way out.

The group then returned to The Flame. As they arrived, David got a call from Serena Elessidil. She told him that Agents Pete Lattimer and Myka Bering had stopped by. She told him that ‘The Warehouse’ was a pain, and that she gave them nothing. As he said goodby, he saw he also had a call form Eric Daniels, super of his apartment an 18 w136th Street, saying that two Secret Service agents came by wanting access to David’s apartment. He said he didn’t let them in, as they had no warrant.

David shared information regarding Agents Lattimer and Bering and their visits with the rest of the group. Andromeda said this was not relevant to what was going on and David responded, saying he thought Jane was going to beat it out of him, so he shared the information. Terri began reiterating her information, holding up a sign that said, “as people believed as they told me”. She defined Susanna as an obnoxious 16 yr old practitioner of some kind of magic. She then mentioned meeting with Kolchak, which made Jane immediately go to the window looking for ‘Peeping Toms’.

Cameron interrupted and asked Andromeda to bring up the NY Times website, which listed a highlight for tomorrow’s paper, which read: “In tomorrow’s edition, An exclusive article on the Museum Terrorits Attact, by Times journalist, Karl Kolchak, which asks important questions regarding the Thermite Bombed elevator discovered by The Time, and the young woman sources say was discovered within. Who is this teenage girl, identified as Susanna Hoffman and how did she escape unhurt in a burned elevator? Why is this girl from West Virginia, listed as missing for 2 years by the F.B.I., now living in Brooklyn? And what is her connection to Alaska Vanderbilt, who recently suffered a similar Thermite attack?”. The group was rather astounded that Terri spoke to a reporter, and she pointed out how much scrutiny the group had been under recently, and how she hoped he could have provided additional information.

As the group discussed the Black Court Scourge, Terri mentioned she knew someone she might be able to talk with who is very familiar with the areas beneath the City. Andromeda mentioned her conversation with Sisko, stating he was nothing more than a bodyguard.

Andromeda began a discussion with Cameron regarding the fate of the muggers and rapists that Cameron dealt with. The group tried to convince Cameron that she should not kill such persons, just injure them. Jane asked her about her standing and Cameron stated she was an operative of the Federal Government. Jane asked if she had a License to Kill, and Cameron said “Yes, issued by the C.I.A.”. The group convinced her to not kill, but render such persons to the point where they are stopped but not dead. David recommended Cameron look into Philosophy and Ethics. Cameron said she would adjust her programming accordingly.

The discussion of the Necromancer and Demon Summoner resumed. Cameron asked, “Why did the demon want Dr. Fairlaine?” Charles did mention that perhaps the Necromancer could use Patricia as the sacrifice. Terri pointed out that Susanna did say the zombies ion the elevator tried to take her prisoner.

Charles asked Terri about Susanna’s purpose at the gala, and Terri told them that Susanna said she was there to destroy the mummies. Terri also did say that Susanna said, “My House will deal with them”. Andromeda pointed out that the kids were overconfident. V.S. did point out that he had Carter and Sadie Kane on his customer list, who he saw present at the Gala, though the group was a bit doubtful, as the address was somewhere in a deserted part of the Brooklyn Naval Yards.

Jane, Andromeda, and Terri went to talk to Terri’s contact, Johnathan Windtalker, while the rest went looking for The House of Life in Brooklyn. Terri led her group to a sewer outlet, plunging them all into the depths beneath the City. After some twists and turns, and a bit of walking, Jane felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand on end, while Andromeda noticed the sound of a crossbow being cocked. Shortly thereafter, a voice told them to halt, asked for identification, and to step into the light. The two men holding homemade crossbows who held up crosses to test them, asked them why they were there. They were then led to Johnathan Windtalker, who seemed relieved to see Terri, then stated that he had been trying to reach Terri for several years. The Scourge had been stalking his people for the last 11 years. He mentioned a community of ‘Drow’ that disappeared about 6 months ago. He mentioned several trolls that had been chased from their lairs. He confirmed that several Hellmouth Vampires had been with the Black Courts (he called the Black Courts Nightmares) and thet the Hellmouths almost worship the Black Courts. He mentioned he thought that his surface allies (Captain Elissa Mazza, Connor Macleod, The Forresters, and Terri) had never returned the messages he had sent and he assumed that his people were just forsaken. He has been the force against the Nightmares, calling on the magics of his forefathers and the spirits of The Hunting Grounds. He also mentioned his people have lost about 20% of their number to the Scourge.

Session Synopsis
Episode Three, Session 2 Synopsis
Examining the evidence around the girl in the elevator, they discovered
piles of ash that were the identified as the remains of probably 5 ‘elder’
(Revolutionary War) Zombies. They also surmised 3 facts:
1) The heat in the elevator was several thousand degrees,
2) The girl had to be the source as she was undamaged,
3) she is the cause of her unconscious state.

Jane then received a call from The Agency, wanting to know what the
situation at the Museum was, as well as her part in the events which

occurred there. Jane explained the whole situation, including the unconscious girl. After providing Agent Ivanova with a full disclosure of the evening’s events, Jane was told to unofficially look into everything – the girl, the incident, and Jane’s associates.

While Jane reported in, V.S. examined the unconscious girl, ensuring she was alive. It was fairly evident to V.S., Charles, and Terri, that the girl was a wizard of some sort, who had rendered herself unconscious through overcasting. During this examination of the 16yr old, V.S. discovered an ornate necklace of an ancient Egyptian Ankh around her neck.

Ankh

V.S. scratched his head and racked his brain for knowledge on Ancient Egyptian deities and which ones held the Ankh as a sacred symbol. While all Egyptian deities used the ankh, V.S. was able to narrow the field to several significant Egyptian deities – Isis, Ra, Horus, Nephthys, and Thoth.

Everyone, except David, went out with the rest of the crowd. David took a side entrance then made his way back to the crowd to get Serena Elessidil. Terri took the unconscious girl to the paramedics, V.S. following to get his arm looked at. At the same time, Siobhan Chu approached Andromeda, followed closely by several reporters (CNN, ABC, and CBS). Siobhan showed genuine concern for Andromeda, ensuring her girlfriend was alright, before Andromeda addressed the reporters questions. Andromeda confirmed the gas attack, but little else. Jane re-united with Chuck Taylor, who seemed quite alright with the evenings ‘festivities’.

As the group (minus David) wrapped things up, they were given Non-Disclosure agreements to sign, and all (including David)signed the NYPD issued agreements. Jane recognized Detective Susan Ivanova, and sought her out for more information. As Jane approached, she noticed that Susan was engaged in a rather heated discussion with three agents from Homeland Security. Once freed up, Jane told Susan what really happened, including her being there due to Detective Joseph Knight calling in a favor and warning Jane that something was going to happen at the Gala. Susan mentioned to Jane, Knight’s confidential Informant and this informant’s supposed computer that predicts when bad things are going to down, and warns them ahead of time. Knight is out of the area, but Susan assured Jane that anything she found out she would let Jane know and asked for the same favor in return. Jane then re-connected with Chuck and they went back to her apartment.

Meanwhile, David examined the Diamond, confirming it was the real Pink Panther, then proceeded to Central Park, with Serena, to meet Aspen as he had been directed to do by Lady Ariel. Serena was amazed at the clothes (albeit Lingerie) wearing dryad, as they were greeted by the always jovial dryad. When David passed the gem to Aspen, he felt uncomfortable about giving it to her, almost demanding it back (Hidden aspect: Gollum Syndrome). He then verbally whipped Aspen regarding this whole situation, to the point the dryad was reduced to tears. As Aspen departed, Serena remarked to David that he was a bit harsh, and David responded that he was worried that his life had gotten her threatened twice now. Serena smiled and remarked, “Life is not worth living if you can’t feel alive”. They then returned to Serena’s apartment for the night.

As the rest of the group all made their way home on the subway, Cameron discussed with V.S (and the others) their relationship, identifying him as her boyfriend (which everyone else laughed at and V.S. almost threw up). She then remarked that V.S. didn’t look good and that she would have to postpone her using her new skills. She then took him back to his place, put him to bed, gave him some Tylenol, and sung him to sleep. It was apparent that Cameron intended to spend the evening at V.S.’s

Terri stopped off at Dragonflys Gentlemans Club, to check to see if Dragonfly was alright. Dragonfly assured Terri she was alright, and even apologized to Terri for fleeing. Terri smiled and the two flirted a bit, before Terri said her goodbyes and went home for the night.

V.S. woke up to the smell of breakfast and Cameron cooking. He went in and said good morning to her, then made some calls to try to find someone to help take care of his burns, but was unsuccessful. Andromeda picked up all three major papers (NY Post, NY Times, Daily News) on her way to the Flame of Knowledge. The papers confirmed the ‘Official Story’ of terrorists and a saren gas attack, reporting the dead as 20-25 people in the subway (men, women, and children), and 18 from the gas in the Gala. The NY Times (reported by one Karl Kolchak), mentioned a separate ‘thermite bomb’ set off in an elevator as well. Andromeda and Terri found this mentioning of the elevator incident, interesting. Cameron accessed the internet to look up Mr. Kolchak, reporting to all that he had spent the past 15 years with the NY Times, 5 years pror working for the LA Times, graduated Princeton, and was fired from the LA Times for arguing with editor that the murderer in several killings was a werewolf.

V.S. brought up the necromancer. Collected discussion recalled the Bone Demon must have been summoned, the necromancer had previously attacked Siobhan and Patricia (causing Siobhan’s capture by Lazarus Jacobs), and that the Demon specifically asked for Dr Patricia Fairlane. The group then discussed Patricia and the necromancer’s interest in her, resolving to speak with her. Charles then called Patricia, who said she would stop by on her way into the Museum. The buzzer from the front door rang, and when V.S. went down, two Secret Service Agents were at the door,

Pete and myka

asking to speak to Mr. David Lyton. V.S. then went to get David, who went to talk with them. They identified themselves as Agents Pete Lattimer and Myka Bering. They then showed David several pictures from the previous night, which showed him giving the diamond to Aspen, and they wanted to know why he gave this gem to this young woman in lingerie in Central Park. David denied it, as Terri and Jane wandered in to eavesdrop. The two agents eventually relented, Agent Bering giving David her card to contact her if he thought of anything else. Jane caught the address on the card and was surprised that it had a South Dakota address rather than one in Washington D.C. David copied the info from the card, then gave it to Jane.

Returning upstairs, Jane remarked that she now ‘knew what David was doing at the gala’, and then the two (David and Jane) pointed out that the Secret Service was really fast in finding the gem, finding David, finding it was a fake, and getting the photos. David claimed the gem belonged to his family, and asked if Jane wanted the whole story. Jane, of course, wanted it, and so David began spilling the tale of his family and the Pink Panther Diamond His tale was interrupted by Cameron’s inquiries about humanity and her ensuing confusion. David then resumed the tale of the small Arabian nation of Lugash, which only Cameron seemed familiar with. He then told how the diamond was stolen and his grandparents fell in love and got married (and how one Inspector Jacques Clouseau stole it), and how it was again stolen 10 years later from the NY State Museum’s annual gemshow, which Cameron said according to Reports filed in The Shop databases, was stolen by one Jacques Clouseau III.

Jane suggested that Terri might want to talk with her mother, The Leanansidhe, as Lea and Lady Ariel are opposites. Terri said it was a good thought, but that ‘Mom has her own agenda, but will stop everything to counter Lady Ariel’. She also emphasized she didn’t want to be caught between the two of them in a conflict. V.S. murmured how it was easier dealing with Hell, which prompted Cameron to ask V.S. about all the stuff in the basement, and he explained that the basement was his workshop for dealing with demons in the safest way possible. This confused Cameron further, but she said nothing.

At this point, Patricia arrived, and after reestablishing the silence ward around The Flame, Terri explained that they believed the demon was interested in her specifically. In response to one of Terri’s inquiries, Patricia identified a few people that opposed her time in the desert, including members of both Egyptian governments, several Bedouin tribes, and a young girl who claimed to be from something called The House of Life (the description of the girl matched that of he girl from the elevator, identified by Patricia as one Susanna Hoffman) who was protected by a man that Andromeda believes is Robert Sisko, a halfblood and Night Guard at the Empire State Building. When Charles was out of the room (in the bathroom), Patricia admitted that she knew of several magical organizations following their own traditions, that she has not told the White Council about. She stated she has not revealed them due to obligations to members of these groups and has sworn to keep their secrecy. She admitted that The House of Life is one of these.

Once Charles returned, Patricia mentioned how she had heard rumors of a group calling themselves the House of Life somewhere in Brooklyn. Andromeda mentioned wanting to talk to Sisko.

After pressuring Patricia about The Watchers Council (and subsequently ignoring Patricia’s prior request to not discuss such things in front of Charles so that the information did not get back to the White Council), Andromeda persuaded Patricia to provide the group with information regarding the Watchers. Patricia made a call and arranged a meeting for the group at 3PM outside Yankee Stadium. Patricia then departed.

As the group discussed what to do now, the mentioning of the Yankee Stadium meeting caused a few others to volunteer to go (Cameron volunteered herself and V.S. causing V.S. to go “What?”) The group broke up, arranging to meet on the Yankee Stadium Subway Platform around 3:30 PM.

Before leaving, David checked himself for anything he didn’t have before, and his paranoia playing up even more so than normal. he used his underworld contacts to get himself several burner phones. He then used one phone to contact Serena, who recognized the Secret Service Agents names, remarking they had come into conflict with her a few times. He provided her with the tale he told them.

V.S explained to Cameron that things were going too fast and that he needed time and more dates to figure out his feelings. Cameron said, “You want more dates?” before V.S. could continue, then asked Terri for a ride home. She gave V.S. a more than friendly kiss on the lips, and then left. After regaining his composure (and state of sanity,) V.S. proceeded to utilize the Flame’s resources to see what he could find out about Necromancy. While his research proceeded, Violet Marten entered, wanting to discuss with V.S. about Necromancy texts. Upon entering, she saw V.S. studying several books on Necromancy, leaped to a conclusion about V.S., and implied he summoned the demon and was working with the Necromancer. It was only because of the word of the now deceased Alfred Newcastle, that she did not execute him on the spot, and she asked him to prove his innocence. V.S. hemmed and hawed, and eventually, Violet told him she would give him the benefit of the doubt, only because of Newcastle and Charles’ word, but that she would be watching him to slip up and reveal his true evil nature. She then took his research materials, and left.

Jane contacted Chuck Taylor, at the Agency. regarding the two Secret Service Agents, and who they worked for. He told her there was no Secret Service office in South Dakota, that the nearest was in Denver. He also confirmed the number on the card was for an IRS number. She asked him to look into it. She also told him about the photography showing David, and that the supposed witness was tracking dryads. Jane then contacted Agent Ivanova at The Agency, telling her about a disturbing conversation around Cameron, pointing out that Cameron apparently remembers The Shop, and has access to CIA Case Files and Shop Files, but mentioned that Cameron claimed she could not access other Government Files. Jane recommended that Cameron could be of use in accessing The Shops systems in the investigation regarding their activities.

Terri and Cameron returned to Terri’s apartment, during which, Terri asked Cameron about V.S. Cameron admitted to Terri how she has feelings for V.S., and that she did not know how to proceed. Terri then gave Cameron some relationship advice, telling her to leave her evening free to talk with Terri and Dragonfly. Terri and Cameron then went to the D.A.‘s Office, where, after producing her medical ID showing she had a metal plate in her head, Cameron was allowed through the metal detectors. As they went to her desk, John, an intern, asked Terri regarding Cameron’s availability. Terri disappointed the young man’s hopes by telling him Cameron was already involved with someone. Terri then looked up the records for the evening’s incident and discovered that Susanna Hoffman had been taken to Beth-Israel Hospital, where she had just come out of a coma this morning. The Hospital confirmed Susanna was conscious, lived in Brooklyn (though her birthplace was a town called Grantville in West Virginia) and that she was being kept over night for observation. Terri then checked in with her boss, and made arrangements for her and Cameron to meet with Dragonfly at 11 PM.

Andromeda received a call from Siobhan, who was not happy with how Andromeda had treated Patricia. Siobhan was disappointed with Andromeda, and fairly angry, and told Andromeda about it. The conversation resolved with Siobhan still being upset hinting that Andromeda would be sleeping on the couch, and they would discuss it later. Andromeda remarked to herself how she was now sleeping on HER couch in HER apartment.

Jane received a call from Chuck, reporting that the man who took the pictures was a Dr. Walter Kornbluth, who had apparently exposed a mermaid back in the 80’s. HE provided her also with a photo

Kornbluth

and address. Apparently, Dr. Kornbluth had taken it upon himself to now prove that Dryads existed, and believed they were in central Park. Using a grant from the Museum of Natural History, where he is on staff, had setup several observation areas, with high speed and light sensitive cameras, as part of his study.

At 2:30, everyone arrived at the Yankee Stadium Platform and V.S. explained to all that Violet had showed up, accusing him of being the necromancer. Cameron asked if “The Warden Threatened you?” and V.S. quickly assured her that everything was alright. He then continued to explain that Violet had also confiscated everything he had regarding necromancy. Terri suggested that He hint that he ‘gifted’ the books to Violet. David pointed out that Wardens are the “worst type of Cops – Judge, Jury, and executioner all in one”. V.S. also mentioned discovering two people riding a t-rex in Chicago during a necromancy event in that city a year or two ago.

As the group passed by the Construction site at Old Yankee Stadium, Charles had a bad feeling about the place, Terri sensed someone had used the site in some type of ritual, while V.S. sensed someone had actually raised Risa Hirano as a spectre or something of that nature. As the group approached Yankee Stadium, Andromeda’s father, Jason Spiradakos, exited the Stadium, and waited for the group. V.S. then opened his sight and looked at Jason, seeing three versions of Jason, one in his suit, blindfolded, and holding a scale; the second was dressed as D’artagnan from Three Musketeers; the third was him in a toga with Aphrodite behind him, love in her eyes, her arms draped across his shoulders. He also saw Yankee Stadium, seeing the ghosts of Yankees past coming from across the street, and up the stairs, with a grayish cloud of mystery hanging over it. He quickly closed his Sight, before he could see anything else.

Jason identified himself as Jane’s watcher, appointed after ‘The Master’ slew her previous watcher. He identified that the Watchers had two branches, those who watch the Immortals, ensuring that they never end The Game, or the wrong one win, and the other branch, that trains the Slayers. He also confirmed that The Slayers were also the Watchers last resort against the immortals, if ever needed. He told them that yes, there was a branch of the watchers who hunt the immortals, meant only to eliminate those who have gone mad, seeing human life as unimportant, though there was an extreme branch of The Hunters, renegades, who hunted the Immortals preemptively. The conversation resolved with little else, other than Jason arranging a separate discussion with Andromeda, and requesting to meet Siobhan.

Session Synopsis
Episode Three, Session 1 Synopsis
David spent the two days prior to the gala preparing himself and acquiring
the proper gear and information for his theft to happen safely during
the Gala. Meanwhile, Charles passed his recognition of Alexandra
Ivanova on to Alfred Newcastle (Alex is the Rogue Warden, wanted by
the White Council as a murderer and traitor). Alfred told him that he
would have to pass this information on up the line, and would get back
to Charles in a few days.

The gala was held in the Hall of Oceanography (the room with the Blue

Whale),

Hall

at 8PM. Charles and Dr Patricia Fairlane arrived at 7PM. Andromeda and Siobhan Chu arrived at 7:15. David and Serena Elessidil arrived at 7:30. Cameron and V.S. arrived at 7:45. Jane and Chuck Taylor arrived at 7:50, as well as Terri and Dragonfly.

As Andromeda and Siobhan arrived, Andromeda was pulled aside by Sue Simmons of NBC 4 News. After some idle small talk regarding the gala, Sue asked Andromeda about the young lady she was with. Andromeda responded that she was her girlfriend, at which point, Sue announced “You heard it here first folks. Andromeda Spiridakos is the first Supermodel to come out openly as a lesbian.” Some more idle conversation then continued on, and Sue asked Andromeda about a report from Wikileaks which mentioned that Andromeda was involved in the events of two weeks ago on 57th street, and that the US Government was trying to cover up the incident. Andromeda denied this, and Sue mentioned video still online showing Andromeda in full Greek armor, waving a sword, which Andromeda said was faked and denied it was her. Andromeda then steered the interview back to Siobhan and how wonderful a woman she was (raising Siobhan’s ego).

David and Serena arrived while Andromeda’s interview was still occurring, and as he saw Andromeda on the line and Charles with Patricia, he turned to Serena and said, “Dear, I think this is all going to go to hell tonite.”

As David neared Patricia, on the waiting line, Cameron and V.S. arrived, where David commented to Serena “I think we are improperly dressed for tonite. Bulletproof vests and Balaclava helmets might be more appropriate.”

As David and Serena entered the museum, Jane and Terri arrived with their dates and ended up with each other, chatting idly with each other. Andromeda, Charles, and Jane recognized Connor Macleod, who was accompanied by Ellistrae. Among the crowd was Mayor Bloomberg, Governor Cuomo, as well as two children who V.S. recognized as Carter and Sadie Cain (Brother and Sister).

Patricia, Siobhan, Charles and Andromeda ended up at the Head table, while the other ‘group members’ all ended up at the same table. Lucky Lucciano was seated at the table next to the group (with his date Scarlett Johanssen) who was also seated with Chris Hemmsworth and a man V.S. recognized as Thor Mjornirson, Manager of the The Scandinavian East Coast Museum. The other table nearest had the Cain siblings, Connor Macleod and Ellistrae, and Alfred Newcastle with Violet Marten.

As Patricia was giving her speech before Dessert was served, people in the back started to zone out. Soon, everyone in the group noticed the people in the back zoning out as a greenish fog began to roll in the door everyone had entered (Charles and V.S. quickly identified this affect as a Mind Fog Spell). Jane told Chuck to leave while Serena and David also got up to leave. Terri put her Dog Collar on as Dragonfly got up, opened a portal to the Nevernever, waited briefly for Terri to join her, and seeing Terri was remaining, left. Terri pulled the fire alarm as Patricia told everyone in the room to leave, “in a calm and orderly manner”. Cameron then mentioned that Corpses should not walk like that, and stated she detected walking corpses approaching from the subway and Main Hall.

Charles entered the mind fog to help one of the victims, and was slightly affected. Cameron entered the fog and started helping people out, getting one before succumbing to the Mind Fog. Ellistrae retreated with Connor through the Nevernever, while Siobhan tried to get Patricia to safety. As Charles and Andromeda told Patricia to go, zombies (Three looking like Revolutionary War soldiers, the rest looking like they were dead for no more than 15 minutes, some even children) entered the hall and began slaughtering those affected by the Mind Fog. Serena pursuaded David to go back and help the innocents back in the hall(Secret aspect, Match Made in Heaven). Terri summoned ‘Winter Winds’ to hold the advance of the Mind Fog at bay.

The zombies continued to slaughter those affected by the Mind Fog, as others advanced on the group. Andromeda finally persuaded Patricia and Siobhan to leave, rather than stay and fight. The zombies advanced, attacking Terri and Alfred Newcastle.

Jane reached the Civil War hall, broke the glass and took a Sabre (setting off the alarm) and then speed dialed Detective Knight, telling him “We got zombies here!”. As she did this, the alarm ceased, stopping the security gate from coming down, and the power began to flicker throughout the building.

Charles magically armored himself, as David ran to where he stored his infiltration gear, noticing that the cameras were off. At the same time, more zombies attacked Terri and Newcastle, killing the senior Warden of New York. Terri maintained her ‘Winter Winds’ to keep the Mind Fog at bay, as she retreated to the balcony level.

V.S. conjured green flaming medieval plate mail on all his allies in the Hall (Andromeda, Charles, V.S., Cameron, and Violet). Violet fired a blast of flame into the zombie nearest her, destroying it.

Shalmarkham, a ‘Bone’ demon (or Ossyluth),

Ossyluth

entered the room, with a boom box playing 2 Unlimited VERY loud (Strong base Techno music, can be heard HERE), firing spikes of pure bone from his hands at V.S., barely hitting him, while the elder (Revolutionary War Soldier) zombies continued to slaughter those affected by the mind fog.

Andromeda used Kaoptris to call upon Aphrodite for assistance. Her prayer heard, Andromeda glowed with an inner light. Charles conjured a ghostly fog around two of the zombies (the one attacking Cameron and the one on Andromeda), destroying them. Jane, now equipped with a sabre, finally returned to the Hall.

The two zombies on Terri (One climbing a pillar , the other the stairs), pursued her up to the Balcony level and attacked, one slashing her leg. David, now equipped with his gear, tried to hack the sprinkler system, discovering someone else was in the system, but did succeed in setting off the sprinklers

The two zombies on Violet continued to attack her, one slicing her right arm, the other bouncing off the armor that V.S. gave everyone. Terri fired off at the two zombies on her, hitting them with an ephemeral giant pillows striking them over the head, killing them both.

V.S. poured more power into his armor spell, maintaining the protection on his allies. Violet reached behind her back, pulled a axe of pure flame, and hit another zombie.

Salmarkham continued to attack V.S., conjuring a pillar of fire to slam down on V.S. who suffered second degree burns over most of his body. Seeing this, caused Cameron to finally shake off the Mind Fog. One of the elder zombies attacked Cameron, missing, while the other two continued to slaughter innocents. Andromeda moved to eliminate the other zombie on Violet.

Charles figured the risk was worth it, and hexed the boom box into oblivion, ceasing the music as Jane re-entered the room and fired her Glock at the demon, hitting it. David also returned, grabbing the nearest innocent still in the fog and dragging her away from the fog. Violet charged at the nearest zombie, hit the fog, and succumbed to the magic.

Terri threw a flash of light at one of the elder zombies, while V.S. attacked Salmarkham with a powerful mental attack, unable to control all the power he pulled, suffering backlash, which caused his nose to bleed and suffer an epic migraine from pulling the power. The spell wreathed the demon’s head in flame’s, but the demon resisted the assault.

Salmarkham turned at V.S, who promptly fled past the demon, the remaining zombies in the hall, and out of the building. Salmarkham then wreathed the zombies in flames to protect their minds from magical attacks. The zombies attacked Violet, and Charles, bouncing off their armor, while the other hit Cameron.

Andromeda attacked the zombie on Charles, missing, which counterattacked her, hitting. Jane moved on the same zombie, missing, while Charles extended the duration of his armor spell. David moved the woman he had save out of the room. Violet, shaking off the Mind Fog, conjured her flaming axe again, missing the zombie, while Terri chugged her stimulant potion and extended her armor spell.

The demon conjured another pillar of flame on Charles, also hitting Jane and Andromeda, singing the armhair on Jane, while Cameron ‘snicker-snacked’ the zombie in front of her in half with her ‘Wolverine claws’. The elder zombie on Violet stood around doing nothing while Andromeda attacked the zombie on Charles. Jane brushed the singed hair from her arm and attacked the same zombie as Andromeda. Charles magically ‘Vadered’ the zombie in his face.

David, seeing all the innocents now safe or dead, resumed his “mission”, returning to the Hall of Gemstones, passing by the Egyptian Hall

Egypt

and noticing that the two sarcophagi for Rameses II and Nefretiri were missing. Terri redirected her ‘Winter Winds’ into a spear of ice at the demon, destroying its physical form, and banishing it. With the demon dead, the two remaining zombies were soon dealt with. Using all this as a distraction, David removed the Pink Panther from it’s case and replaced it with the fake from Lady Ariel.

David then returned to the main hall, just as Sirens could be heard outside. David recommended leaving to join the other attendees outside, also telling them about the missing sarcophagi. The others went to the Egyptian Hall, V.S. rejoining the group, and seeing that several of the zombies in the main hall were obviously once the museum security guards. All the gold and jewels remained, but it was obvious where the sarcophagi had been. Terri, Jane, and David examined the scene. Terri found evidence of the two sarcophagi being removed on some kind of cart. With Cameron’s assistance, they followed a trail to the elevators. Meanwhile, Andromeda tried to get a vision from Katoptris, and got flaming pain in her eyes for the effort, dropping the dagger and screaming in extreme pain. Once she was able to think clearly, she knew that she had somehow stepped on business concerning the deities of Ancient Egypt.

Jane then asked Charles “What is the connection between The House of Life and The White Council?” of which Charles stated he knew nothing about a House of Life. Andromeda then asked about “The Watcher’s Council and The White Council”, which caused Jane to state that she did not like The Watcher’s, and that when she had her first death, it was suffered “at the hands of someone from The Watchers Council”.

As the group debated this, the elevator doors slowly opened, the metal on them had melted, as did the plastic inside and the metal beneath, as if subjected to extreme heat. They then found an unconscious girl in the elevator,

Susanna

who, when Terri checked her pulse, discovered was alive. Terri also found the girl wore a golden necklace with an Egyptian Ankh around her neck. V.S., Charles, and Terri all recognized the girls’ situation as a spellcaster who threw enough magic to render themselves unconscious.

Session Synopsis
Episode Three, Prelude

Andromeda Spiridakos

Compel: W.O.P.R Watches Over Me

The past two weeks have been a whirlwind of activity for you. Almost immediately after being released from F.B.I. custody, you received a call from you agent, Zoe. This call was good news and bad news. The bad news was that due to your unavailability, Pitbull went with Rosie Huntington-Whitley for his video. The good news, however, was that his interest in you sparked the interest of Jay-Z, who was preparing to film a new Video in New York City. So, after a lunch meeting with the Rap star, you and Zoe signed the agreement, and you spent the next 4 days filming the music video to his latest release. You spent much of the shoot thanking the Gods that Jane’s employer was able to scrub anything that would have shown your’s or your companion’s identities from all the footage of Lazarus’ takedown.

What time you did not spend working, was spent with Siobhan. For all intents and purposes, she has moved into your apartment now, and when she is not off working with Patricia on magic or Egyptology, and when you are not working, you two are together. The one concern you have about her, is she gets fiercely jealous, which is why you did not inform her of the call you received from Danny Williams, who wanted to reconnect with you while he was in New York. You still have not decided if you will meet with the detective from Hawaii, or not.

As you sit at your computer, idling away some free time surfing the Net, your mental wanderings are interrupted by a phone call.

“Ms. Spiradakos, this is Mr. Finch,” the voice on the phone says, “Perhaps you remember me? I assisted you with that little computer issue you had recently?”

You respond in the positive.

“Very good. I will keep this short then. I require your assistance on a problem of my own. My associate, whom you have met, and I, have come across something that is out of our area of expertise, and I believe you are perfectly suited to help us here.”

“I have sent you several documents, related to a person who we believe is in danger. I cannot share how we got this information, however, your game playing friend might be able to shed some light on that subject, should she be willing to discuss it with you.”

You open the mentioned e-mail, and examine the documents, recognizing the image of Siobhan’s teacher almost immediately.

“The person in question is Dr. Patricia Fairlane, noted Egyptologist. Also a member in good standing of two organizations from your side of the street – The White Council and The Watcher’s Council.”

“The reason for my contacting you, is the information Mr. Reese and I have compiled show that Dr. Fairlane’s life will soon be in danger. The cause of this danger is out of our league, as it is of a less mundane manner than we tend to deal with. Which is why I am contacting you.”

“Dr. Fairlane is attending a Gala at the Museum of Natural History, tomorrow night, to announce her findings regarding the Egyptian tombs she recently discovered, and their contents. I have arranged two tickets for you, so you can attend.”

“Do not let Dr. Fairlane out of your site. I am certain that whatever is going to happen to her will begin at that gala tomorrow night, so, make sure you are there, and prevent her from being killed. You will not be her sole protector there tomorrow night, but you are the only one familiar with the types of assailants that may come after her.”

The call ends abruptly. Apparantly, Mr. Finch has assumed you will do what he asked. You take the tickets, as they eject from your printer, and smile. Siobhan had already asked you to accompany her as her date to the Gala, so, Finch’s tickets are unnecessary.

Thinking it might be a good idea to have some kind of backup there, you contact Cameron, and invite her. The ‘Stepford Assassin’ is ecstatic at your invitation, and, you arrange for her to join you and Siobhan that afternoon when you go shopping for a gown for the gala.

Telling Siobhan about Cameron’s attendance is met with a streak of jealousy from her, which you quickly handle as you guide her to the bedroom and show her how much you care.

(The session will begin at the gala.)

Compel: Noblesse Oblige

Following Lazarus’ death, and the events at the F.B.I., you quickly returned to Patricia’s, to retrieve your family and return them to their home. As you leave, thanking Patricia, she makes no secret of the fact that she is interested in renewing your relationship, as she gives you a long, and much more than friendly, kiss good-bye.

The next day or so is spent ensuring your family is safe and that nothing similar will happen to them again. You also spend a day or so, replacing your ‘safe-house’ apartment in the City, as Lazarus and his cronies had discovered the other one.

The Friday after Lazarus’ death, Patricia contacts you and invites you to dinner. Dinner evolves into a walk along the riverside and a romantic kiss under in a moonlit Battery Park, which leads to you spending the evening and morning, at Patricia’s. The rest of the next week is spent happily, with Patricia.

While she spends plenty of her free time (which is very little as she prepares for the upcoming Gala at the Museum of Natural History) at your home, you spend enough with her at her place to learn that Siobhan has moved out, and is now, apparently, living with Andromeda. This does not surprise you much, considering how Siobhan was all over the Daughter of Aphrodite after you and the others saved Siobhan from Lazarus’ trap. You also warn her that you believe the zombie attack on her home was unrelated to your battles with Lazarus, and that perhaps someone seeks to acquire her Mummies. You advise her to take extra precautions, which she does, enlisting your aid in strenghtening the wards around her home.

Your mind does occasionally wander from happiness to concern over ‘The Master’, but you decide to give yourself a well deserved period of relaxation. Besides, Alistair Newcastle has returned to New York, and after you filled him in on the issue, he promised to look into it.

It has now been two weeks since Lazarus died, and you find yourself as Patricia’s date at the Gala, at the Museum of Natural History, where the announcements of her discoveries and the revealing of the mummies and the treasures of the Tombs, is to be revealed.

Compel: Enslaved to the “Pink” Panther

You have spent the last two weeks, contemplating your current situation, constantly wondering when Lady Ariel may show to give you orders. You spend much of this time with Serena, who seems almost unwilling to let you out of her sight. You can tell the kidnapping shook her more than she is willing to let on, and decide your time could best be spent with her. Besides, spending time with her is good for your soul as well.

As you sit in a comfortable chair, idly watching television, alone in Serena’s apartment, as she is meeting with a client at her office downstairs, there is a knock at the door. You rise and answer it, seeing the figure of your Fairy Godmother standing in the hallway. Clad in a pair of blue jeans and a pink silk blouse, she looks amazing.

“David, may I come in?” she asks, though you feel compelled to step aside and let her enter.
The Summer Fae enters the apartment, looking around, “I see the Princess lives comfortably. That is good. And she is good for you as well, my Godson.”

You grumble at her, asking what she wants.

“Straight to the point. I find your attitude so refreshing, David. Very well, the reason for my visit then. I come to bring you a gift. These”, and she holds out two tickets. You look at them, and notice they are for a gala event at the Museum of Natural History, at the end of the week. You briefly recall Professor Fisher mentioning some gala that his associate would be attending, and find it a bit more than coincidental that Lady Ariel is giving you tickets to attend the same gala.

“Ah, I see you recognize the event. Good. You will attend this gala. Take the Princess as your gues,t if you so desire. I know she will appreciate it. During the gala, you will slip, unseen of course, from the gathering, and retrieve something for me from The Hall of Gemstones. Can you guess what is there?”

She smiles at you, but before you can answer, she continues, “Of course you do. The Pink Panther Diamond is on display and you will retrieve it for me. If it were not protected by The Bane, and spells designed specifically to prevent me and my kind from taking it, I would not need you to do so. That is beside the point. You will do this for me. You will retrieve the diamond, then rejoin the party, and leave with the other guests, and your Princess, without anyone knowing the diamond is missing. How will this happen? For you will replace the diamond, with this” and with that, she hands you an exact replica of the famed diamond.

Her smile widened. “Don’t worry about what happened during your last trip to the museum, that little bauble has been moved to another location. Somebody in Washington has a large interest in it, I think.”

“Once you have retrieved the diamond, take it to the Dryad of Central Park. You remember her, do you not? Sweet Aspen? She will bring the stone to me.”

Lady Ariel then leans down and kisses you on the forehead, “Good luck, Godson” and then vanishes.
You grumble about how you hate fairies, just as Serena enters the apartment. She looks at you, then sees the tickets in your hands, and rushes over taking them out of your hand. “How on Earth did you get these? I assume you intend on taking me, don’t you?”

You sit down with with a grimace. “Only if you feel like being in the middle of a bad, caper movie. I can’t believe she thinks this type of job is a good idea.” You sigh, running your hand through your hair. “My darling, just discovered, god mother wants me to attend the gala and steal the Pink Panther and waltz out without anyone the wiser.”

Serena sits next to you, tickets still in her hand. “You don’t think it’s a good idea.”

“It’s a good way to end up in prison.” You take her hand, stroking it gently. “Fifty years ago this type of job was possible, at a house party, not at a museum. Cameras watch everything, security is on constant alert and every third person there will have some type of bodyguard. Even if they won’t care about the theft a good guard notices things I’d rather they not.”

“I also don’t have the time to set this up right.” You stop stroking the hand, but you still hold it. “A job like this takes a month or more, I have two days to case the place and plant the equipment I’ll need, this is too exposed to go off without a hitch.”

“Unfortunately.” you tap your chest, “I’ve taken the payment so I have to do the Job.”

Serena’s face had turned serious as you spoke. “I’ve told you the way out of your debt, I don’t want to entrap you but marrying me would mean she couldn’t touch you.”

You grip her hand tighter. “It’s not that marrying you isn’t what I want. I’ve come to realize I love you very much in the short time we’ve been together. But I refuse to enter a marriage just to get out of trouble, that wouldn’t be fair to you. The thought of you having even the slightest fear, and it would cross your mind, that I merely married you for convenience is something I couldn’t live with. It would put me on par with those girls who marry someone to get into the country and I won’t have that.”

You move closer and kiss her. “I’ll get out of this, then I’ll marry you. I want you for better or for worse, but I refuse to have that poison served along with the champagne at the reception.”

You stand up and move towards your coat. “If you still want to go to the ball I’ll be happy to take you. It will be dangerous for you if I’m caught.”

“Serena smiles at you from the couch. “Of course I’m going with you and I’ll help if I can. Where are you going?”

Shrugging into your coat you turn to kiss her again. “We’ll have to go clothes shopping tomorrow morning, my tux is a little thread bare at the moment. Tonight and tomorrow night I’ll need to join the cleaning crew at the museum. I’ve got to see a man about being sick and needing a temp replacement. Don’t worry, I’ve done this before and he is easily bribable.”

Compel: Friends on the Force

The past two weeks have been anything but restful for you. While The Agency does not hold you responsible for the actions of your compatriots in dealing with Lazarus, it is obvious that the situation has complicated things for them greatly. You have been buried in paperwork, the only bright spot being your dinner the other night with Chuck Taylor.

The dinner conversation was interesting, and enjoyable. Chuck has a sense of humor you never knew existed beneath his unassuming technogeek exterior. You are most definitely looking forward to your next date, this Friday night, even if it is at some boring Museum Gala.

Your reminiscing and daydreaming are interrupted as your cell phone rings, “Jane? This is Detective Knight. Can you speak for a moment?”

You look around the office, and tell him to hold a few, as you head outside onto the street.

He continues, “I need to call in a favor, Jane, and it’s one I need you to keep off the books and keep your employers from knowing about. An informant of mine has sent me information that someone intends to cause some problems at the Museum Gala Friday Night. You understand, I cannot share the source of this information with you, but, then again, I’d say you owe me a few for past services.”

“Anyhow, something spooky, is going to go down at the Gala. Someone is gunning for the Guest of Honor, Dr. Fairlane, and unfortunately, due to other situations, I am unable to handle this myself, or to bring anyone from my department in on this. It’s…political here right now. Seeing how you were going to attend the gala anyhow, keep your eyes peeled, and if anything happens, deal with it.”

“I must re-iterate though, your Agency cannot be brought in on this, and will have to be kept in the dark on this one. Do this and we’ll be even.”

You reluctantly agree, not totally comfortable with leaving The Agency out of something that you feel they should know about, but, you do trust Detective Knight. He’s covered your backside more than once already, and you seriously owe him. You return to your desk, hoping you are not making a mistake about this, while your mind tries to figure how you can smuggle in a weapon or two in the gown you’ve bought for the gala.

Terri Foster

Compel: Favors Are Hard Currency

The past two weeks have been fairly quiet for you. Things at the office have died down, now that the Kardashian Murder Trial has wrapped up successfully. You’ve enjoyed the quiet at work, as you seem to get bombarded with questions from Cameron almost every night when you arrive back at your apartment. The android seems curious about everything, and seems to accumulate an inordinate amount of inquires while you are at work. The highlight of the past two weeks, of course, was your date with Dragonfly, as you spent last Friday stopping a few mischievous Summer Fae from turning the AMC Theatre in Times Square into a garden. The Movie (Olympus Has Fallen) wasn’t too bad either, nor was Dragonfly’s company for it.

You also checked in on Alaska Vanderbilt’s status at the hospital. The young woman has been moved into a room, and the doctors are amazed not only at her recovery, but at how the burns are slowly healing from her body. She is due to be released form the hospital in another two weeks.

You were also able to get in touch with ted and Michelle Forrester. Seems that while their mission was a success, they lost a member of their team, and they refuse to discuss who it was. You briefly ask Michelle for advice regarding you and Dragonfly and she warns you to be careful, “The Fae are a fickle bunch, Terri, and I would hate to see your heart broken through a mere accident.” was her overall response.

Arriving home on Thursday evening, you prepare yourself for the latest barrage of questions, only to enter the peacefulness of an empty apartment. You easily find the note Cameron left you on the refrigerator, telling you she is out for the day, shopping with Andromeda, of all people, and that she is planning on catching a movie when she is done.

You smile and sigh, and prepare to enter your real home, when your phone rings. You quickly answer.

“Ah, Terri. I hope I did not catch you at a bad time.” Dragonfly purrs on the other end.

You let her know its never a bad time and she continues, “You should be getting a delivery shortly. I hope the gown fits. I just got two tickets to the Gala at the Museum tomorrow night, from a customer, and I thought you and I could make a date of it. Chow.” and with that, she hangs up on you.

Shortly after the call, a delivery is made. A beautiful ice blue satin gown, with matching shoes, along with blue diamond earrings and a matching silver necklace, arrive for you, all in your size. Accompanying them is a message, “Will pick you up at 6PM tomorrow. Dragonfly”

Compel: Asps, very dangerous- you go first

With Lazarus defeated, you’ve returned to your routine life, happily running your shop. It’s been a quiet two weeks, and you are still happy that Dolores got out of the situation unscathed. You also have spent time making yourself your new focus items, feeling that something good came out of all the events of the past month or so, strengthening your magical prowess.

Your relaxation is interrupted however, as someone enters the shop. You look up at the door chime, and recognize the figure entering. It’s Cameron, the reprogrammed android assassin. The last person you would want to see. She sees you and smiles.

“V.S.! Just who I was looking for. I thought I would find you here.”

You stammer a greeting, not comfortable with this veritable killing machine in the same room as you, with no one else around.

“I won’t keep you long, I promise. It’s just, that Romy gave me these tickets to a gala at the Museum tomorrow night, so, I thought I would see if you would like to go? Romy and Siobhan are taking me shopping for a gown later, and I would hate to go by myself.”

Fear runs up your spine as your mind races, trying to find a way out of going on a ‘date’ with an android assassin, but you can’t seem to think of anything that does not end with her going berserk and killing you, so you stammer out an agreement.

Cameron’s face lights up, “Oh, that’s wonderful1! I’ll be here around 6 to pick you up then.” and, to your surprise, she gives you a quick kiss on the cheek, “See you tomorrow night then!” and thankfully, with that, she leaves.

Her departure is accompanied by light laughter, as Dolores turns the corner, a smile on her face, “Well, my friend, seems you have an interesting evening ahead of you. I will make sure your tuxedo is cleaned and ready for you tomorrow.”

She laughs again at the look you give her, as she returns to her work. Your heart sinks into your stomach as you dread Friday night.
