At The Flame, in V.S.‘s Apartment, Charles showed the group Saundra Smythe’s purse. V.S then mentioned he had a bit of David, showing the group the handkerchief with David’s blood on it. Charles pointed out that a tracking spell cast here, would not be able to track David if he were still in the Nevernever. Charles pointed out that Risa Hirano could have used Summer merely as a transportation point and therefore David is here, in reality. Charles also pointed out that if David is in the Nevernever, he is not necessarily still in Summer. The group then split up, as Charles and V.S. needed to do some ‘wizardly’ things.

Meanwhile, David awoke with his head on a bar in the middle of what appeared to be a 1940’s Jazz Club, with Gloria Estefan performing a song with an all girl band.

Laying across the bar, dressed very elegantly, was a lovely Fae woman, who identified herself as Lady Ariel.

The woman on the bar began talking to David, who denied everything as a morphine induced hallucination. She offered him a drink, which he refused. She then changed the venue once or twice until he was ready to accept where he was. She then told him that Risa had permission from her Queen to pass through Summer but that David didn’t and that she told Risa to leave him behind. She admitted she was a Lady of the Summer Court. David then learned that she was his Faerie Godmother. She revealed herself to be Ariel, handmaiden to Titania. She then assured him that the wine was from a liquor store on 45th street.

Charles spent part of the day, at his home, performing a thaumaturgical search for David, which came up blank and revealed David was not on the Mortal Plane. While he was doing this, V.S. utilized the items form Saundra’s purse to summon a demon that was knowledgeable about Saundra. He summoned Bryclot, after performing a cleansing ritual. V.S. then asked the demon to tell him about Saundra Smythe, the Saundra Smythe who was linked to the picture V.S. was holding. The demon said it could not see the picture, and asked V.S. to hand it to him to examine the picture. V.S. thought that might be a bad idea. He then asked it to tell him everything it knew about Saundra, and it began telling him the details of every hour of her life beginning with her birth. He then rephrased it, and asked for her personality traits (learned she had the following aspects: Red Court Mercenary, Grieving Mother, Trained by SAS, Veteran of Omerta).

Andromeda went back to her hotel with Saundra’s purse, after taking a picture of the photograph of the little girl. Andromeda got Saundra’s address in Queens, near 5Pointz. Confirmed her Visa from TD Bank was a $10,000.00 credit limit, a $100,000.00 credit limit on her Mastercard from Bank of NY of $100,000.00 and her checking account at Bank of America of $536,856.25. She was born in London in 1958, and became an American Citizen in 2009, sponsored by Ernesto Escobado, head of the Escobado Cartel. Andromeda found pictures from the past 3-4 years, showing Ernesto Escobado walking in broad daylight with Saundra (using a parasol in daylight to shade her) body-guarding Ernesto, and Jesus and Saundra (at night) body-guarding Ernesto. The last picture was from a month ago, when Escobado was testifying in court and Saundra was present. Andromeda discovered an offshore account for Saundra with $3,000,000.00 in it, all from Cartel sources (confirmed by Jane after quickly contacting her). Andromeda also discovered a secured website which Andromeda tried to access, the Association of International Mercenaries, Inc. (A.I.M.). Saundra was listed on the site as “Scope”, a very expensive sniper, who had been inactive since about 1 month before Saundra first showed up in photos with Ernesto.

Andromeda then called V.S. (getting his voice mail) and Charles (who had finished his spell) and arranged to meet at The Flame the next morning. Charles shared that David was in the Nevernever. Andromeda then shared her information on Saundra. V.S. then shared what he got from his demon, pointing out that the picture is probably Saundra’s daughter.

Charles pointed out that this is all interesting, but recovering David is a priority. He also pointed out some of the pitfalls of the Nevernever, as well as dealing with the Fae. Charles also talked about perhaps getting a guide. During this discussion, Andromeda realized about the situation of her owing Terri a favor. Prior to leaving, V.S. jumped into the shower to perform a cleansing ritual, during which Andromeda knocked on the door and asked V.S. if he wanted some company. He refused. After which, Charles asked Andromeda to buy him, on his credit card, a flashy, girly, iPhone. Charles then wrapped up the phone and asked the others to wait here for his call and headed Central Park to meet with Aspen. He offered her the iPhone and she accepted it and he asked her to be guide. The group met up in the Park and Charles introduced Aspen to the group.

V.S. blushed and Andromeda recognized her as a dryad, even if she was wearing lingerie with a new, girlie iPhone in the garter of her stockings. She opened a portal and they found themselves on a yellow brick road. Apparently knowing exactly where David was, Aspen then linked arms with everyone and while she sang “We’re off to see the Wizard” led the group to Lady Ariel’s party. She also revealed that Lady Ariel was David’s fairy godmother. Aspen led the group to a discotheque off the Road, and once past the centaur bouncer, entered the party to see David sitting at the bar, speaking to Lady Ariel (still stretched out along the bar). Aspen pointed out Lady Ariel and warned the group to not make mermaid jokes to Lady Ariel, then went off to dance. As the group spoke with David, V.S. noticed that the man Aspen was dancing with was the Demon Prince, Valhamarkem, in a not so subtle humanoid-demon form.

V.S. then tried to blend into the scenery. Aspen then brought over her partner, and introduced him as ‘Val’. ‘Val’ looked at V.S. and ‘Val’ greeted him as Valentine. A stare down ensued, and Andromeda got identified as one of V.S.‘s friends. Before leaving the group, ’Val’ looked from V.S. to Andromeda, and back to V.S., promising that “all accounts would be settled”. Charles went off to dance with Aspen during this.

Lady Ariel approached and after speaking briefly regarding ‘Val’, provided the group with her blessing (except for Terri. Blessing is only good against Risa for one scene and can be used, for a chip, to counter her Blessing of Hecate). David found a bottle of rare Amontillado wine in his jacket pocket, with a tag on it that read “To Serena”

The group then returned to New York and went to the Broadway Diner, for breakfast. At breakfast, they learned an entire day had passed while they were in Summer. Charles pointed out that the group had links to both Saundra and Risa, and that the group needed to decide who to deal with. David pointed out that there might be a way to make Lazarus Jacobs uncomfortable, if not outright nervous. He pointed out that the first time he cased Lazarus’ place, he noticed a man watching the building, someone who he believed is connected to the Luciano Crime Syndicate. David also pointed out about the Nakamura Clan wanted to know what happened to Raiden Takura. Charles and Andromeda both seemed a bit reluctant regarding the overflow damage from bringing either in on the conflict. V.S. suggested that “Val” could be used to get Risa into a compromising position. The group was reluctant to this. David recommended that they try to obtain Risa’s itinerary/schedule/habits, and that he might know some people to get him this information.

David went off to make some calls. While this was going on, V.S. mentioned to Charles that he should probably talk to Charles’ Warden friend. A young girl came up, an obvious fan of Andromeda’s, asking for her autograph and for advice. As Andromeda signed the autograph and spoke with the girl, the group finished their breakfast. The group then split up. Andromeda returned to her hotel to find a message from Terri, telling her that the issue has been handled, but that Andromeda now owes Terri’s mother, The Leanansidhe, a favor. A follow up from Andromeda’s agent, Zoe, confirmed the picture had been proven fake and everything was OK now. She then received an e-mail from Sara@Eureka.gov stating “Overwatch is no longer required on her or her family”

Charles contacted Professor Alfred Newcastle, regarding V.S., and arranged a meeting between Alfred, Charles, and V.S. They met, and after Charles introduced them, Alfred asked V.S. about his skill. V.S. explained his skills. Alfred gave him a ‘get out of jail free card’ in the event V.S. should ever encounter Violet Marten in a less than friendly manner.

David, looking for a link into the Lucciano Syndicate, contacted Elizabeth Morton,

a former High School sweetheart of his, who is now the Madam of “Workout at Tiffany’s” (one of Lucciano’s High Cost Brothels disguised as a Health Club on 5th Avenue and 57th Street). After going over old times, Liz revealed that Risa was a regular customer, who came in every Friday, from 4-8 PM, and was only with the same girl, Jennifer Anastos.

David then went to see Serena Elessidil, and at her office in One World Trade Center, told her about his Fairy Godmother and the conflict with the vampires, and the trip to Summer. He warned her about his Fairy Godmother and them going to take out Risa. He also told her about the bottle of Amontillado, and Serena asked him to hold on to it for her for now.

Rendezvousing back at The Flame, David pointed out Risa’s weekly rendezvous with Jennifer and that they could probably either ambush Risa on her way back from The club, or outside Lazarus’. Group debated how to approach the problem. David pointed out some “Silly ideas”. David suggested having Terri open a portal to Winter as a bear trap. Charles was strongly against this, as a conflict in Winter might be construed as an act of war on Winter. David also suggested just opening a portal, but Terri reminded him that she could probably detect an open portal. Finally, David recommended going after Lazarus while Risa was occupied with Jennifer. Charles pointed out doing so, would be giving up an advantage, knowing her schedule. Andromeda pointed out that the group knows a bunch about Risa, and next to nothing about Lazarus. The group then began contemplating the possibility of getting Risa to enter the construction site present on the grounds of Old Yankee Stadium, a spot she would have to pass on her way back to Lazarus’ from the Subway (which they confirm she takes for her rendezvous with Jennifer)
