David’s cell then rang, a blocked number, and it was Lazarus Jacobs. He told him that if any of them came near Serena, she would become “a piece of Modern Art, of the red, chunky, kind”. He then spoke about Connor Macleod and what the group saw at Macleods Antiques. Lazarus said he wanted the Sword in the Ice, and in the next three hours, or “he could see Serena next on display in the MOMA”.

David then asked Terri if she knew how to contact the Summer Court. Terri then said “you wait for me to leave and then say her name three times”. Terri departed on the next train for Central Park, with the rest of the group inadvertently following her. Terri did not seem happy about the idea of meeting Lady Ariel.

As they discussed the summoning of Lady Ariel, Lady Ariel made her way through the crowded car. David asked her if she could help him save her, and showed her the picture of Serena. She identified Serena as an elven princess. The group persuaded her to tell her tale of the Pink Panther and it’s connection to David’s family.

As the group arrived at the Central Park Station, and following Andromeda’s attempt to prove Aphrodite superior to Ariel (during which Ariel mentioned the Egyptian deities in Brooklyn), the group spoke with Ariel regarding her assistance in saving Serena. David asked her to save Serena, and Ariel said she could not approach Serena, without violating a Millennia old agreement between Faerie and her people.

The group then debated possibilities of how to rescue Serena, when Jane’s cell rang, Chuck Taylor from The Agency provided her with an address (7th ave and 42nd street. Near the Lincoln Tunnel and Times Square. 2 blocks from where David Stutler was found) and confirmed Serena was still alive. Checking the news, David discovered the police had placed a cordon 2 blocks wide, around the area (closing the Lincoln Tunnel and Port Authority).

Terri attempted to contact the local wildfae with pizza, but failed to reach any. Terri then asked Charles if Aspen could be contacted to see if she could help contact the wildfae. Charles asked for what to pay her with and Andromeda pointed out there were three Victoria’s Secrets in the area that she could probably just walk into and get something to use.

Andromeda and David used Andromeda’s laptop to access the original blueprints and the security cameras of the garage. As this was going on, Jane was monitoring the TV news broadcasts and saw that the NYPD discovered two SWAT officers dead in Port Authority, one’s sniper rifle missing, the scene matching a typical Red Court Vampire killing.

David then proposed his plan, opening with saying “I have a plan. It’s stupid, but I’m going to do it”. He asked confirmed Jane could get him through the police lines, and asked Terri to veil him for 20 seconds or so. Jane pointed out that an opportunity for David to get to Serena by not being seen, so will the authorities. Jane then separated from the group and contacted the UCU, reaching Detective Joseph Knight, and informing him that she believed there was a Red Court onsite at the hostage crisis. Detective Knight said he would tell the Captain. 10 minutes later, Jane received a text from Det. Knight that he and the Captain would be onsite in 10 min. Andromeda, scanning the cameras, counted about 16 guys in the area. Shortly after, the power went out within the cordon, and Jane commented “look, they’re following the FBI playbook”.

Planning went on, the deadline now 1.5 hours away. David said at least 2 need to go into Port Authority and find Saundra Smythe, who the group believed was the Red Court who took out the two SWAT in Port Authority. David gave his plan and then the group began nitpicking it. Monitoring the Police Bands, Jane heard that another 10 dead SWAT officers were found in Port Authority, and at the Advice of Captain Elissa Mazza (now onsite) have pulled out of the building)

The group prepared themselves while David met with one of his contacts to get the proper gear needed, and then, using Jane’s FBI Badge and contacts in the NYPD, crossed the cordon and David and Terri entered the garage while Andromeda, Charles, Jane, and V.S. entered Port Authority.

Jane and Charles continued to discuss strategy (self compels on Never knows when to be quiet and Always be prepared) as the blood curdling cry of hunting red courts echoed throughout the room. Charles responded by pouring power into his wristwatch, causing it to give off light. David snuck/raced to Serena, who was unconscious, and discovered that the bomb was set to go off if the wheelchair was moved, the brakes disengaged, or her weight removed from the chair. Terri sensed movement on the roof top and froze the Red Court Vampire in place. David disabled the booby traps on Serena and moved her out the line of fire and disabled the bomb on the unconscious Serena. David then removed the explosives from Serena. Saundra, seeing the tide of battle go against her, jumped from the building, the height of the fall and her horrible landing snapping off her right arm (and her borrowed rifle), and she fled the scene. This caused the remaining Red Courts to surrender. Jane contacted Detective Knight, regarding their prisoners.
David came down the zip line he had prepared from the roof, with Serena and was met by a Doctor, who said they were there to take care of her. David insisted on accompanying her. They blindfolded David and put them both into the ambulance. Terri arrived as David was getting in and was assured by the Doctor that “The Princess and her Beloved will be taken care of. Here is where they can be reached.”
