Description:
The Flame of Knowledge is located in Greenwich Village, particularly in the West Village section. The store is a mass of, mostly ancient, books, papers resembling scrolls, small baubles, and a wall of card catalogues holding a great many things. Although the store is nicely sized (especially for NY) it appears to be much smaller due to the clutter of books.
The Flame has a huge oak desk behind which is a shelf of ledgers for tracking book purchases Most often at the desk is Deloris Crownne, who handles the Flame with nearly the same care as her boss.Without her the place would be filthy.
