The White Court Vampires of House Howe, feed on Lust, and are a splinter House of House Raith. With the recent events in Chicago which severely weakened House Malvorra and House Skavis, as well as decimated the numbers of House Raith, it appears that House Howe may be moving towards superseding either House Skavis or Malvorra in prominence. House Howe, was founded by William Howe (alias William Raith), British General, and Head of the British Occupying Force of New York during the American Revolution. Utilizing the confined situation of New York, and the lusty bawdiness of the average British soldier of the time, Howe and his ‘children’ (other members of House Raith who followed him) grew in power, and in numbers.

Shortly after the War’s end, the General sought retirement, and returned to England where he ‘died’. After his ‘death’, he returned to New York to lead his House, masquerading as his son, and has done so, ever since. Through a series of ‘deaths’ William Howe’s ‘sons’ (Howe Himself), have maintained control of the Family and it’s fortune.

Unlike his father, the White King, William does not fear his sons. In fact, his children are all quite loyal to Howe and the House. There is an almost military like discipline amongst the members of the House. This is perhaps due less to Howe himself, and more to the House’s unified goal of supplanting Malvorra and Skavis and eventually dethroning House Raith.

House Howe has it’s fingers in the more decadent side of New York. Most of the Adult entertainment venues are Howe controlled, though the Mayor Giuliani led cleanup (with strong, secret, support from the Watcher’s Council) of Times Square and Manhattan was a set-back. The less legitimate Adult industries, mainly prostitution, are also mostly under House Howe’s control.

The jewel in House Howe’s crown however, is Studio 54, which allows the members of the House unfettered access to the rich, powerful, and famous, as well as their secrets. The biggest thorn in House Howe’s side is Dragonfly’s Gentlemens Club, which they have repeatedly attempted to take over, and failed time and time again.
