Chocobos
Chocobos are large flightless hunting birds that are native to the great plains southeast of the Ruins of Arkhosia. They run in wild herds, hunting deer, elk, and other animals native to the plains.
Several shifter tribes have domesticated chocobos and trade them with towns as both riding and war mounts.
