The Siege of California

Below is a expanding collection of short stories written by myself and my good friend The Deacon Cole. We used to game a lot together but these days we live on opposite sides of the country which make weekly get-togethers a bit of a problem. Since the setting this game is taking place was shaped at least as much by Greg's hands as mine I've invited him to take a participatory role in the game by providing back story on some of the characters you'll be meeting during the course of your travels through L.A. After I read his first story I got so jazzed that I decided to write up one of my own. As is revealed in "Lazuras Rising," sometimes the stories may reflect or even reveal something hidden about the game. This is a way for me as a storyteller to show you "what's under the hood" and let you see some of the things that are moving beyond your character's sight and experience. Anyway, I wanted to make this main Story page as a way to organize them all so we can keep the setting info and the fiction separate.
