In Galactic Year (GY) 3864, a nuclear war broke Earth between the Russian Empire and the North American Empire. The war lasted exactly 37 minutes before everything was destroyed and everybody died. Luckily for humanity, much of the Milky Way had been colonized already. One thousand galactic years later, the Galactic Council declared Earth to be a demilitarized zone in which any waring empires may meet on and negotiate.
