Humans originated from Earth. In the Galactic Year (GY) 3294, the ship Galacticon, the first Earth-based spacecraft departed from Earth carrying over 2 billion tons of equipment and over a trillion passengers. The objective was to colonize Mars. By GY 3317, Mars was like a second Earth. Water was abundant; lush, tropical forests were everywhere; and you could survive without a space suit. In GY 3358, a team of scientists developed four colonization spacecraft that ran solely on hydrogen fuel cells. 200 years later four colonies outside of Sol reported fully functional starports. Before the destruction of Earth, there were over 200 reported colonies and gas giant drilling stations. There has been no sign of sentient life within the Milky Way.
