The Kingdom of Evashyn is a powerful alliance between most of the city-states of Corus. The government is designed to provide minimal interference in how the various city-states are run while still being able to provide a unified front against external threats, in particular the Chelikt Empire. The nation is governed by five seats known as the Thrones. The five city-states that contribute the greatest resources every year are awarded the Thrones; ostensibly because they have the most to lose to an outside force. Regardless of who controls the Thrones from year to year, all member states are allowed to vote for the Warden. The Warden is a single individual that can direct the resources of Evashyn should the Thrones be unavailable or delegate the responsibility.
