Xairus
Sojourners Waypoint
| This city has several aspects that make it unique. The first is that it is the only way to cross from northern to southern Corus. The mountains to the southeast and the lake to the northwest blocks all other travel. As a necessary trade route simply taxing merchants has made Xairus very wealthy and has put it in a position to obtain one of the Thrones. Beyond that this city is the primary point of communication with the elves of the Arien Taur, with a significant elven population living within the city that is curious about the world outside of the woods. As a result the people of Xairus have adopted many elven customs, making the city a mix of normal dwellings and treetop homes. And while not entirely natural, this city is very much in tune with nature. |

The north central area primarily caters to the travelers and traders. The eastern section of the city and home to most of its populace. The southern section so called for its abundance of warehouses. The farms that cover the rest of the valley not claimed by the surrounding forests. |
