Stormhold

A vast majority of Stormhold’s citizens live in small villages and towns as farmers. Those that find live in one of the few large towns are often doing so as artisans and craftsmen. That is not to say that life is boring, however. Frequent festivals keep people happy, whether its the bi-yearly Hops Festival or the annual Festival of Stars.

Despite the population being mostly agrarian, the middle and upper class, and nobility are some of the best educated people on the continent, thanks to the Imperial College for Bards and Sorcerers. Founded several hundred years ago, the college’s function was to teach gifted youth how to harness innate magical talent. Currently the college is most well known for offering higher education in mathematics, science, engineering. Alchemy, herbology, and arcane arts are still taught, but are less popular.
