The search concludes in the engine room, where Kadon sees that the ship was not damaged, just unplugged, and the cargo bay, where the final survivors are recovered. Returning to the business of recovery Mercury’s Envy, Zuko is attacked by a number of dragonblooded akuma and an infernal that is leading them. Moments later one of the interns, En’unt Llagar, also reveals herself an akuma and the likely saboteur. The attackers are destroyed, but not easily, with the poison of one nearly killing Kadon. In the aftermath the rest of the crew is disarmed just in case, Kadon returns to trying to raise the boat and Mnemia must deal with Zis who appears to have lost her sh*t.
