Events that could reshape the very nature of Creation.

Cleansing the Great Curse
Status: Delayed
Likely unobtainable, the Circle is nevertheless focused on removing the curse of the primordials, the root cause of the fall of the First Age. The Ninefold Manse will at least allow the Curse to be acknowledged, a necessary step to act against it. Within the Wyld and in search of the Tearing Gale, the Circle obtained a book that Kadon Cind will write in the future that contains a list of charms that may be able to counteract its influence.

The Deeds of Creation
Status: Delayed
The Deeds of Creation are a set of artifacts that, once all collected, allow for unprecedented control over Creation. Though the Circle has recovered a couple of the deeds at the prompting of Avatar, there are still a few more to find and the Circle has almost no leads, generally finding them by happenstance. They were originally held by the primordials, so some of them may still hold one or more.

The Return of Autochthon
Status: Delayed
Having traveled to Autochthonia, the Circle is hoping to restore Autochthon and enable his return to Creation. While the Circle believes this is possible, such a thing would be extremely difficult and likely require millennia. Upon discovery of one of the five open Eyes of Autochthon, this one below Chiaroscuro, the Circle has come to believe the Great Maker is viewing Creation and is especially concerned by the Great Curse. The next step seems to be opening the three closed eyes spoken of by the design weavers; artifacts whose locations are shrouded in legend.

Creation That Was Before
Status: Delayed
Memories that once belonged to the Unconquered Sun told a tale of Creation as it was before the Primordial War. The Creation we know is but one of four existences, a prison where evil is bound forever. The ramifications of this are as yet unclear, but it may be that Creation’s salvation lies in one of the three other realms. It’s also possible that the Well of Udr could be a bridge to these other existences. Mercury has also revealed that the Daystar, once restored, could cross existences as can a primordial that exists in multiple Creations, but this entity is currently imprisoned.

The Primordial Unbound
Status: Delayed
Since before the end of the Primordial War, Ophelia has hidden within Oblivion. Now she has escaped its dark embrace and recovered the exaltation Autochthon constructed for her. But this exaltation is killing the mortals it empowers and the key to solving this riddle lies within a keepsake once possessed by Kiera, now held by Anastagio, an early version of the Unconquered Sun. The Circle must now enter the deep Wyld and recover the artifact from the discarded god.

The Hidden Primordial
Status: Delayed
Similar to Ophelia, the primordial Lucy hid herself away to avoid imprisonment, but in her case she used Elsewhere to mask her presence. She has since returned to Creation and has backed Yurgen Kaneko‘s bid to reestablish the Solar Deliberative in direct opposition to Aboshi’s efforts to do the same. This alliance also includes the insane lunar Raksi, who has kidnapped Fox in an effort to capture Yuki.

Petrification of Neptune & Birth of Uranus
Status: Delayed
Neptune and Uranus are two fallen maidens, the former sealed away and the later killed during the Primordial War. Yuki now carries the unborn Uranus and the Circle now knows the song that will allow them to reach Neptune’s prison. And though the Circle could attempt to free Neptune, it would be premature to do so until Uranus is born. Having recently learned of the coming rebirth of her sister, Mercury has requested that the Circle protect Uranus from the Unconquered Sun.

The Return of the Scarlet Empress
Status: Awaiting Storyteller Action
The Scarlet Empress is destined to rise from Malfeas and bring with her the greatest war Creation has seen since the turn of the Age. Aboshi, the twin sister of the empress, briefly took command of the Realm, masquerading as her sister, and named V’neef Sidney as her true successor. With the Rose Black and Mnemon backing Sidney’s claim, Aboshi has entered Malfeas to disrupt the wedding of the true Scarlet Empress and the Ebon Dragon.

A Malfean Plot
Status: Delayed
With the successful defense of the Emerald City, the most pressing efforts of the forces of Malfeas seem to have been stopped. Still, a few infernal machinations are still in motion. The most frustrating of which is the continued activity of the imposters pretending to be members of the Circle (who have in turn drawn the attention of the organization known as The Succulent Tears). In addition, a number of hellstriders that were constructed in Chiaroscuro are running loose, the soul of the solar akuma known as Thrice-Damned Gorol is known to be sealed somewhere in the city of Gem and Silver Forest is still requesting the summon of a third circle demon to negotiate his pardon and allowance to remain in Creation.

Heir to the Shogunate
Status: Awaiting Storyteller Action
Given the military strength of Lookshy, control of the city is vital. As a result learning who is the true heir of the Shogunate and controlling that heir is also vital. Scarlet and Ziggurat of Infinite Suffering have provided Karal Fire Orchid and the Circle’s allies within the city with the ability to track the lineage, both through life and death.

Minions of the Mask of Winters & War of the Deathlords
Status: Delayed
The ongoing conflict with the abyssals of the Mask of Winters, primarily in the city of Nexus, has no resolution in sight. The Circle does not know where the abyssal circle is and has no reliable way to find them (other than stomping around Thorns). Though with The Walker in Darkness now marching on the The Mask of Winters they may come out of hiding.

Restore the Eclipse’s Exaltation
Status: Awaiting Storyteller Action
The exaltation of the Circle’s former Eclipse caste is held by The Bodhisattva Anointed by Dark Water. Unfortunately there have been no good leads regarding how it might be freed.

Master Thief
Status: Awaiting Storyteller Action
A number of secure locations, from the Eastern Grove to Nexus and beyond to Chiaroscuro, have been burglarized, though nothing of particular value stolen. Currently the Circle is trying to convince this individual to step forward. But if the friendly approach doesn’t work something less friendly will likely follow.

Gaia Attacked
Status: Awaiting Storyteller Action
Someone or something has attacked Gaia. And while the threat posed by the attack is significant enough for Autochthon’s fail-safe to activate that froze time in Creation, the nature of the attack is unknown. It is suspected though that the attack on the Emerald City was only a cover for this attack on the primordial.

Recover Soulsteel for Rhythm
Status: Delayed
The recovery of soulsteel is ongoing, but why Rhythm wants it is unknown. The Circle could likely discover the secret, but has not pursued the matter since the Dawn caste is an ally.

The Attention of the Opal Court
Status: Awaiting Storyteller Action
At the conclusion of the Trials of the Sword there was an outstanding concern regarding what actions the Opal Court would make in response to the actions of the Circle. But now it appears that Eyes of Destiny was able to maintain control of the volatile neighbors.

Spark of the Stars Unbound
Status: Awaiting Storyteller Action
Freed from Autochthonia with the rest of the Circle, the fire elemental quickly disappeared. Only the Fates know if their paths will cross again.

Time Out of Mind
Status: Awaiting Storyteller Action
Nearly a year of memories were shrouded by the exit from Autochthonia, and consequences of the actions taken during that time continue to crop up. Uncovering the secrets of what transpired then would have unknown ramifications.
