@StephenWollett Hey thank you for the kind words, I’m always glad to hear that someone has enjoyed reading this material. I wish you the best of luck on your own Star Wars/Star Trek EU campaign, there’s more than enough material in those universe’s respective EU’s to run an amazing adventure for your party.

If I might ask, what or which parts or elements from this campaign are you planning on borrowing exactly just out of curiosity?:)

Great site, It took me a while to get to delving deep into this one but now that I have I am very pleased. I am preparing a Star Wars/Star Trek expanded universe campaign and I will certainly be borrowing a little from this one. Keep up the great work.

Hi Dyluth
Taking a break from putting together my first OP campaign, I finally got out and started looking around at the community!

I just wanted to say that ’The Force is with you!

A great game with some interesting characters, adventures and a nicely organised and thorough site.

I also want to say as an artist and a big fan of OOTS I just love your characters!

Keep it coming!

Why thank you IanHoulihan, I’m always glad to hear from some fellow Star Wars Saga Edition fans. You’ve got quite the nice looking pathfinder campaign yourself by the looks of it, and I’m always a fan of pathfinder adventures!

Having only started using Obsidian Portal myself, I wandered around the site looking for my favourite game – Star Wars RPG SAGA. That is where I stumbled across your site, and may I say I love it. The illustrations in the style of OotS is fantastic. Keep up the good work. I look forward reading of your group’s adventures.

Thank you kindly Arsheesh. I had thought about posting the Hutt’s rig on Cartographer’s Guild, but since I only had a side view and no actual “map” of the station I didn’t think it was right for the site, so I just posted it here instead. As for what’s next, I should make up a similar side view of the Ocean Scoundrel, as well as an actual map of Ecumenopolis as it IS the player party’s de facto home base for now.

However my efforts for this weeks campaign are focused on preparing an actual “opening crawl” video which I’ll post online here and for all the previous sessions. I’ll be very happy if I can actually get that to work so wish me luck!

Dyluth, I love your artistic diagrams of the Renegade and the Manaai’Lorda harvesting rig! I remember seeing your diagram of the Renegade over at the Cartographers Guild, but the harvesting rig was new. Really nice work on both of these. Are there perhaps any other ship diagrams in the works?

Thanks for the compliments MandalorianGrey, and I might just accept that invitation to Ord City. Just as soon as the party finishes their starhopping around the Outer Rim and heads corewards for some real galactic culture that is :).

Hey Dyluth, The star wars bubble font that you have on your main page and wiki is really cool! Congratulations on getting a solid game together. Maybe someday I will get my PCs in gear. Great era to play your campaingn in too. Maybe if your PC’s just happen to be Ord City on Galactic Center they’ll stop by and say hello to the Scumbag Ortho for some provisions ;-) ha ha! Great job on the site, and its distinct style.

Well it was great to get the game rolling again two weeks ago after our long summer break, and I look forward to our next session now just two weeks away. Having been running this game now for a full year has been a great experience I must say, I’ve learned quite a bit about story telling on the fly, improvisation, and the mastering of the greatest of illusions a GM can master, the illusion of choice. Bwa ha ha ha :)!!

Gaming and Skyping

Our last session marks the first time I’ve been involved in any game where a player couldn’t make it in person but played via Skype. I’ve read this is actually quite common now for players to do with busy school, work and family lives, but for me it was a first time experience and I have to say it was a very cool one. Getting players together has always been a concern of mine for a regular game schedule, and I’m really glad that I now have a back-up plan to keep a game on schedule with all my players even if one can’t make it.

Where We Shall Soon Be

The way I see the game going, either at the end of the next session or the begining of the following we’ll see the whole campaign open up in an amazing way the players are just going to love. This is something I’ve been preparing for for some time now and I can’t wait to usher in the next chapter of the story, I just hope the party enjoys it as much as I think they will.

Until then, good gaming everyone and we’ll see you all in two weeks time!

Yes indeed Arsheesh, we’ve just had a slight change in scheduling which will mean the campaign starts up again in just over two weeks time.

Until then, I’ve promised myself that I’m going to make some maps and layouts up of the player party’s main mode of transportation, the [[Renegade]], as well hopefully a map of [[Ecumenopolis]] and even the region of Dantooine the settlement rests on using some of the maps from Cartographer’s Guild as a reference.

Serina, as a DM, I gotta say that having players look forward with anticipation to the next game session is one of the most encouraging compliments a DM can receive. I’m glad to here that this is the case with your campaign.

Escaflone, I really enjoyed reading your character Aiden’s war journal. The gritty first person perspective narrative really got me engaged in the story. Great job!

Hello :)

As a player in the campaign I have to say that I love it and always look forward to the next session. Like many others I too love the way the characters are drawn, they do a great job of conveying the personality and uniqueness of all the characters. I’m always looking forward to the next session with excitement. A huge part of why is that I feel that the opportunity is given for character growth as well as really fun combat sessions. The story is definitely creative and I’m glad to be a part of the campaign. And I just want to say thank you to those who also enjoy it too.

May The Force Be With You

Serina :)

Hey, thank you Arsheesh. I couldn’t have made the updates happen without your help! I still have some more reformatting to do, and I may borrow your “Session Banner Graphic” idea to head off each individual adventure log, but I think the look I have in mind is really taking shape.

Special Ops and Commando’s eh ZorkFox? Now that sounds like a campaign I’ll have to check out if you resurrect it, especially if it’s between Episode’s III and IV. Would this be a campaign told from the Imperial perspective?

Thank you for the kind words sir! Yes the artwork is all my creation, the style is based off of Rich Burlew’s “Order of the Stick” webcomic which I’m a huge fan of with some modifications of my own. As for the site I have to thank my players most of all for doing an awesome job in this game and making me want to chronicle the good times.

Those are some pretty nice looking campaign sites of your own too I have to say, I may have to borrow that “acknowledgment” section you’ve put together for this site since god knows I’ve drawn inspiration from many a place.

So thanks again and good luck with your own games!

Sincerely,

Dyluth

Hey Dyluth (Chris?) and Gang,

Hey I just dropped by and and wanted to congratulate you guys on such a well put together site. Dyluth, did you do all of the artwork for this site yourself? If so, kudos man! I love the color and distinctive feel of these caricatures. I am also impressed with the amount of detail given to NPC’s and adventure logs (though I’ve only glossed some of these). Great job on this site.

Cheers,
