This campaign takes place towards the end of episode VI.

The Empire has been heavily damaged by their losses at Endor. In their leaderless and weakened state, Imperial forces scramble to hold on to their remaining territories, while plagued with bitter in-fighting and political jockeying for power.

The fragile Republic is hollow shell of its former glory. Lacking the forces and resources necessary to combat the remnants of the Imperial Fleet, most of the fringe worlds and even some core worlds are left to fend for themselves.

Throughout the galaxy crime-lords and local political and military leaders take advantage of the power vacuum to increase their personal wealth and power.

The scene on most fringe worlds is the same, lawless and chaotic. What hope do the people’s of these scattered worlds have, scavenging and struggling to survive on a daily basis.
