My apologies again, I had been hoping to make the session tonight but I am out sick again. Really hoping this gets solved during my upcoming consult with a specialist.

Sorry, I’d hoped this would be the first day I would be back for the session, but I’m feeling ill and staying home today. Next Wednesday I should be ready and back in action. I hope everyone can make it out for the session on the 12th.

Not going to be at session today, sorry.

Keeping your job and taking care of your health are both excellent priorities. Dan, have a good evening at work. Ian, rest well and get plenty of fluids. Game will still be here next week.

Sorry for the short notice, but I’m feeling distinctly not well. Don’t think I’m gonna be in Today.

It looks like I’ll be working late tonight, so unless things magically run faster I think I’m going to have to skip the session this week.

My apologies for the short notice, but I will not be able to attend tomorrow night’s session. We’re in the choreography stage developing our routine for MFC, and we’re going to have one extra practice session this Wednesday.

I can confirm that game night absolutely will happen this Wednesday. We hope you all can make it.

We’ll be starting a bit late today. Try to aim for showing up around 6:30 if possible. I will see you all then tonight.

My fire class was extended by one free week, I’ll start up stellar travelers again the following Wednesday.

As a reminder for everyone. I believe that this wed is when we are starting back up playing.

Bad news, folks. I will not be able to make it to the next two sessions, January 21st and 28th. The 21st is a evening planning meeting for an event I’m helping to organize, and the 28th is an open call for fire performers to get involved with MFC this year.

We’ll see if Trey has plans to run something for those who remain.

I’ve got a pretty good feeling I’ll be late today. Hopefully be there by 7, but I’ll have to see.

Trey will be late to the session tomorrow 12/17, so we’ll he playing Stellar Travellers starting at 6:00 instead. He’ll be joining us a bit over an hour late, so we should start without him.

This coming Monday, October 1st, will be Stellar Travellers. We’re going to start the switch off come Monday, and return to Fallout on the 8th.

I’m going to be at the fair all day today so we won’t be starting fallout till next week.

There will be a session this week, Monday July 9th, assuming everyone is available. Hope you can all make it!

I am feeling under the weather and will not be running Stellar Travellers this week. Game will resume as normal next week June 25th. There will be no session July 2nd, as I will be out of town, and there may not be a session July 9th, as people recover from Convergence.

We are hosting a spaghetti dinner tonight! Two types of sauce, one with sausage and meatballs, one with no meat for the vegetarians. We will also be serving caeser salad and cool beverages, so please bring your appetites. Looking forward to the session!

Please feel free to keep adding tech, ships, weapons, stories, etc to the wiki. My only request is that new alien species be instead submitted via PM or email to myself, to be made into a GM-Only page and perhaps introduced later in the game.

It’s optional, but I’d encourage everyone to provide me with a list of your character’s motivations, maybe a brief statement on each, and if you’d like a short bit on your character’s personal goals, possibly long-term if you have them.

It helps to have a list of what is important to everyone, and an idea of what people want to accomplish and do and see. It helps us understand the characters as people, and certainly informs their backstory and values.

Please take a look at the “Aliens” wiki page on the Main Page. In it is a brief summary of why I really really hate the Alien Creation system in Infinite Macabre and really don’t want to use it. I made an alternative proposal, and if any of you come up with an idea you’d like to share I’d be happy to see them, because I’m not entirely thrilled at my proposal either.

I did earlier agree we could use the rules, so if enough people are dead set on using them I’m willing to go along. If that’s the case, I don’t think I’ll make any new alien races through the campaign, because I’d prefer to never touch that system again.

We are engaging in a bit of schedule switchery, the EDC one-shot will be continued this Monday 4/16, instead of our regularly scheduled Legend-based activities.

You guys are probably going to want a ship in the course of the campaign, and I really want to thank all of you guys for all the hard work you’ve been putting into the wiki and the setting.

So, as mentioned in the house rules, an abundance of wiki entries earns xp toward a group pool. I see no reason why that has to start after the game is running. Once we’re ready to start, I will count up all of the cool wiki pages for xp and encourage you guys to spend it toward a clearly-definable group asset, such as a Starship.

To get you guys thinking about what kind of ship you’d like to travel around in, I’ve been updating the entries on the Starships page with a “Base XP Cost” line, tallying up the merits, to give you an idea of what is and is not in your price range. It’s also a good measure of how complex and difficult to produce a ship can be.

A quick note about tonight’s one-shot. I have an errand to run at 5:00, and hope to be home by 5:30, 5:45. Please show up at 6:00, because I am not sure if someone will be here to let guests in if you arrive early, as Trey will be out the first part of the evening, and Mike may be sleeping.

I have uploaded a Galaxy Map to the campaign. If you have a clear idea of where your species is along the spiral arm, please feel free to edit the map and re-upload a corrected version. Those species I was already familiar with placement of were included.

The dots are meant to represent the general location of home systems and the general seat of their expanded territory. It is likely that each species possesses additional colonies, but it seemed unnecessary to mark them on the map.

My apologies if it is difficult to read, if any of you have cartography recommendations I can use to the improve the map, I will be happy to hear them.
