The Pearl of the Lake, a Mississippi River paddle boat, sank during a freakish storm on Lake Pepin. The crew has not been recovered, but Life to The Max host Greg Thunder’s body did was ashore. Greg Thunder and his team returned to Lake Pepin to film a sequel to their popular 68th episode about Peppi, the Lake Pepin Monster. Was this an act of nature or is the mythical Mississippi Monster to blame for the deaths of amateur paranormal investigators?

Infamous for its history of violence among its inmates of young juvenile delinquents The Red Wing Correctional Facility gained the international spotlight in 1963 thanks to Bob Dylan’s song, “The Walls of Red Wing.” Despite the many attempts by the therapeutic staff to deter fights, the record of the boys’ prison was far from satisfactory. It came as no surprise when after a killing spree by one of its prisoners that the facility was shut down and abandoned in 1974.
