Laura: Life to the Max host Greg Thunder has been found dead on the shores of Lake Pepin two miles from downtown Lake City. He was filming a follow up episode to the 2009 expedition to track down Peppi, the Lake Pepin Monster.

Tom: The small paddle boat, Pearl of the Lake, that Greg Thunder’s team chartered was apparently
struck by lightning in the severe thunderstorm the other night. The charred remains of the boat have been scattered along the shores of Lake Pepin.

Laura: The cameraman, ship’s captain and diving team of three have not been found. This isn’t the first time that severe weather has caused problems for the boats on the lake.

Tom: Remember, if the sky looks foreboding; don’t go out on the lake – unless you’re hoping for Smoke on The Water on KWING!
