Background
Cori grew up in the gem mines of the Plen mountains. She moved to Empire City when her older sister, Aami, was killed in a factory accident and their family blamed Cori for encouraging Aami to travel the world and find work in the cities. Plagued by guilt and her family’s rejection, Cori joined the sky pirate crew of the Pearl Spoon for the thrill, the distraction, and revenge against those responsible for Aami’s death.
