Because the Battle of Yavin did not result in the destruction of the Death Star (and indeed took place many months later than the canon timeline), the Galactic Standard Calendar is not suitable as a basis for dates in this campaign. All dates in The Shattered Hope are based on the Great Resynchronization, which occurred approximately 35 years before the Battle of Yavin in the canon timeline.
