We are informing you that a kidnapping attempt was made on our person last night. We are lead to believe that it was done by the cult of the naga. The kidnapping was performed by a band of troglodytes. We assumed the troglodytes were only hirelings of the cult because, they disappeared into an abandon farm house across the street after leaving us in the care of three farming citizen with pitchforks. Among the detained was Olwen the bar keeper at the Slumbering Serpent, the dwarven priest, and myself. We were taken to the temple were a priestess lead the operation. Our sneaky Halfling thief must have followed us or something because I remember him freeing me and giving me a mighty war hammer to do my bidding. I personally took care of two of the evildoers and save the thief who rescued me earlier. Both parties fled from the scene, we took the cart drawn by horse and road back to the inn, while the priestess and the other farmer ran into the temple.
