Owner of Diamond Lake’s Rusty Bucket and some mines that appear to be doing okay. Sleeping with Luzanne Parrin, but otherwise something of a mysterious figure in town. Frequents Lazare’s most nights for dragonchess and conversation. Gainsworth keeps a nice house with a small staff, but mostly spends the night with Parrin or in the office of the Rusty Bucket. A young aristocrat with time and money who seems to genuinely enjoy the politics of playing people off one another and using Parrin for sex while never moving against Smenk.
