A Mage-run nation ruled over by the Council, who in turn are headed by the Archmage; and the Senate, who are run by an elected King, who serves for life. The King and the Archmage each have veto power over the other, but they tend to stick to their respective areas of expertise, the Archmage running Magical and Technological issues, and the King dealing with Administrative and Military issues. The Council and Senate tend to assist them in these matters, as well as dealing with Diplomatic issues.
The stance of the kingdom is much fairer to the magical arts than the other power on the continent, and for this reason the Magus Collegia was enchanted and moved to the place it occupies today, about 200 feet above the plains outside the Capitol.
