December 18th, 2010 – The Mayor’s Ball

It has been a long, cold December, with plenty of darkness. The sun has been retreating across the sky faster than ever before, and rarely has a day gone by with any sort of light sneaking through the cloud cover. As such, it is a freezing day when your phones chirp to life, your e-mail application dancing and chirping until you mash it silent. The Invitation illuminates your screen. Little time is left for you to acquire the appropriate attire, but you make due as best you can.
