Read Aloud Text

As you sit peacefully on the shore enjoying a bit a fishing a crossbow bolt suddenly thumps into the beam by your head and a voice calls out, “Put 500 silver in bags on the shore or we’ll fire you.”

Tactics

The Orcs are not expecting much resistance from the fishing vessel and have put their energies into planning a quick escape before Gray Knights can arrive on the scene. Thus they are not ready for armed attackers from the ship and set up in poor defensive arrangement.

Development

The Orcs realize they are in trouble fairly quickly and try to rally themselves into a fighting formation along the shore of the river but if things are going badly flee back to waiting horses.

Features of Area

The area is fairly open although darkness limits vision to a certain degree.

The Orcs are low on supplies and silver and way behind the times as far as information is concerned. They claim to be working for freedom forces against the Gray Lord but are happy to come back to the Five Nations if informed the rebellion fizzled out.
