The Gray Vale War
Welcome to the Wiki for The Gray Vale War. Please check in from time to time to see what kind of updates we have for our gaming group. Along with updates and announcement for the The Gray Vale War, I’ll post updates for our excursions with the RPGA and the Central Jersey Gaming Group. Thank you Jeremy Jordan for signing us all up, and showing an enthusiasm for the game that is unmatched. Any Jersey Gamers should contact Jeremy and join up.
Thanks for checking us out.
We had our first night of playing on Wednesday, October 15, 2008. Again, thanks to Jeremy Jordan of the Central Jersey Gaming Group for coming down and getting us all signed up for the RPGA.
The start of the Gray Vale War is a simple e mail sent to the players. See the narrative text from that e mail here.
A description of the night’s adventure can be found at The Start of the Gray Vale War.
Tonight, the second night of our campaign to save the Gray Vale from an unknown threat, we’re going to try a new house rule: The Bloody Hit Table. We’ll let you know how things go. Hopefully, they go well.
On the second night of our campaign, we continued to delve into the crypts under the abandoned ruins of the keep at Rivenroar. Read all about this adventure here.
We took two weeks off because of scheduling problems and conflicts, but on November 20, 2008, we were at it again. Back underneath the Ruins at Rivenroar to try to rescue the townsfolk of Brindol, and to recover their artifacts. Check it all out here.
Another week off because our host had some family obligations, but I’m glad to say that everyone was anxious to return. It’s amazing how a group of 30 and 40 somethings look forward to our teenaged geek fest every week. The appeal of the game begins to really shine here. Everyone is looking forward to going to escape, to become something else, and to hack some evil up. We continue our delve in search of the hostages from Brindol in the tombs of Rivenroar. Read all about it here.
Our last gaming session of the year, and we finally finished up the first chapter of the Scales of War. Once again, we all looked forward to our game, and things have really started to click. As everyone becomes comfortable with the rules, the game begins to fly by, and we finished up early. Our PC’s moved forward, and we’re ready for the next chapter. Real all about it here.
