The Hammerdrier campaign arc

After arriving in Elfholm, Koran sends a message to the elven King and Queen.
The next morning a very young elf dressed in court finery arrives at the inn and leads the PC’s to the elven Monarchs hall.

The elven lad leads you up the central staircase of Liannaita the higher up you climb the narrower the stairs get. At the top you are greeted by 4 elven guards, who have been expecting you. The great hall is sculpted out of the living tree, the floor is woven from the smaller branches and the canopy top creates a shaded umbrella. Silk banners encircle the space, fluttering in the breeze. The King and Queen sit in their thrones, before the trunk of the tree. 36 guards stand at attention around the edge of the space.
Queen Irridariana Sliverleaf is one of the most beautiful things you have ever seen, her long straight brown hair flutters in the breeze and her crystal blue eyes sparkle with flecks of silver in the natural light. Her skin is soft and almost translucent like moonlight. She is wearing a ilght pink gossamer gown that is almost translucent and a platinum tiara studded with moonstones.
King Beyaina Sliverleaf was once a stunningly handsome man, but a long scar from his right temple to his right nostril marred his otherwise attractive features. He has his long black hair tied back into a triad of braids and wears sleek black leather armor and black leather gloves. His right eye is white and blind but his left eye is dark and fierce.
The King and Queen rise and step forward, she spreads her arms and says
“Master Koran, it is both a pleasure and an honor to welcome you to our hall once again, how fairs the Dwarven nation?”
“It is my honor Lord and Lady” he replies “to be received in your hallowed hall as always. fancy you should mention it, I am here on the bidding of the Dwarven council. They asked that I bring you this message” he holds out the silver scroll tube. One of the soldiers steps forward and takes the tube, inspecting it before handing it to the King. He opens it and they read the message together. The Queen looks horrified her eyes growing wide, the King face becomes grave. They look up at Koran, he asks
“Is it true Koran? has the horn begun to blow? are they preparing to evacuate the city?”
Koran looks at his feet for a few seconds before answering. “Yes my Lord, the Vennor tower horn began to sound 10 days ago, I understand it is growing louder each day. I suspect that there may not be much time left, 2-3 weeks at best. They are shipping necessary supplies to a safe point near the Irranwa river. They are asking you to send supplies and support for the refugees if they do evacuate. They are going to try to wait till the horn becomes audible to everyone before starting the actual evacuation, they are trying to avoid a panic.” He draws a deep breath “They have asked me to come here and research the tower’s use and what may be the cause of this.”
The Queen and King exchange glances and she says “Of course Koran you may use the library, though I don’t know that you’ll find in there that you haven’t already read. I will visit the temples and see if they can spare any healers to make the journey.”
The King pipes in “I will tell the guard to prepare for a rescue mission, gather the necessary supplies.”
You are dismissed from their presence and Koran leads you back down into the city. When you have gotten back to the inn Koran says to you “you 4 should head to Hammerdrier tomorrow morning, I will stay here and research. I will message you when I have some relevant information, if you leave me with that folder from the lost tower I’ll try to translate it for you, in the meanwhile I need you to take this message to Pann Silverdrier, the high priest of the temple of Erikki, He will take you to the dwarven council and hopefully we’ll get some answers.”
He hands you the same silver scroll tube.
