An island in the north Great Sea, once a stronghold of the Nerathi Empire. Held in force by the remnant House Ordo.

Prior to it’s conquest by the Nerathi, Valkos was home to the notorious King Barant, who fought the Nerathi all of his life. His death on the battlefield led to a crisis between his three sons, each of whom attempted to take the throne for himself. It is said each of them sought an alliance with a mysterious dark power to whom their father was a servant.
