Our intrepid heroes have awaited the time of the rite of passage for years. But when the time came, events didn’t unfold as planned.
On a Queensday morning, Agon, Mamon, Sappho, and Gidjet wait for the training session to begin, but Engar and Brutus – their 2 masters – never show up. Instead, a young boy delivers a note:
“You have three weeks to find us. If you find us, your training will be complete. We are hidden in Moonsilver Forest. Be careful, not everything is at is seems in Moonsilver.”
After fightng their way through Moonsilver Forest, its drakes and its dire wolves, for a day, the party discovers a hideout – a cavern. That’s where their masters are hiding, or resting.
Resting in peace – Engar and Brutus are dead. Their corpses are in the cavern.
2 things seem odd about this cavern:
- There are no tracks in the caverns, like the corpses slowly flew through the cave and were gently dropped on the ground.
- The corpses have stab wounds under the sternum, but there’s no blood anywhere.
Our intrepid heroes bring the corpses back to town help prepare the burial ceremony. But an odd character shows up for the burial…
