Major noble family
The Minthur noble family was one of Tyr’s reliable middle houses until the recent execution of Murter Dyan and the attainder of the Dyan house; the Minthurs found themselves in a position to absorb the bulk of the estate and now count themselves among Tyr’s major houses.
The patriarch, Senator Trevalis Minthur, was preparing to pass his seat on to his son Verrasi Minthur when the revolution occurred and the Senate was dissolved. Trevalis’ fourth son Elias (who had joined the Tyrian Guard as a youth, seeing no future for him with his brothers ahead of him, and had steadily risen in the ranks) was surprised to find himself become the most powerful and influential Minthur as he rose to second in command to Strategos Gevello.
