Considering The Geography Of The Known World
Aquona is the center of the lands in the Middle Sea, as befits her honored position as Conqueror of Conquerors. But beyond its borders stretch many lands, even unto the massive Cataracts which mark the Four Ends of Kaordas. The great seas surrounding these cataracts are known as the Outer Seas, and are inhospitable and wild by any measure. Before the Cataracts, it is said there are countless ice floes in the North, nigh-endless desert in the South, unnumbered distances of rolling, dead plains in the East, and to the West, only the long-unbroken sea.
