Half-orcs tend to be between six and seven feet in height. Though not as burly as pure blooded orcs, half-orcs (even half-orc females) are much more muscular than humans making them quite well-suited to rigorous manual labor. Half-orcs do not share orcs’ immortality but can live hundreds of years if given the chance. Few half-orcs last that long though, with many becoming victims of violent hate crimes and abandonment.
History and Society: Half-Orcs exist on the border of two vastly different species, most often byproducts of rape. The animosity between orcs and humans makes these half-breeds targets for both and friends of neither. That being said, Roderick’s laws dictating tolerance allow half-orcs to live and work in human cities. These people face much discrimination however, and are usually relegated to menial tasks of manual labor that keep them isolated and poor. Those humans willing to interact with half-orcs outside of taunting them often look upon them with pity.
In orc society, half-orcs are either killed (along with their mother) at birth or forced into a life of slavery, with few living more than twenty years. Those that escape into the gentler lands of the humans are often quite crass and primitive. They’re extremely distrusting and keep to the edges of civilization. It’s not unheard of for an orc-raised half-orc living on the outskirts of a village to attack any and all that approach their homes. Few blame these former slaves however, for if any orc were to find them, they would stop at nothing to spill their filthy mixed blood.

Orc Blood: Count as both humans and orcs for any effects related to race
Orc Ferocity: Once per day, when brought below 0 hit points, can fight one more round as if disabled. At end of turn, unless brought above 0 hit points, immediately falls unconcious and begins dying
Weapon Familiarity: Proficient wih greataxes and falchions, treat any weapon with the word “orc” in name as martial weapon
Languages: Begin speaking Common and Orc, high intelligence allows half-orcs to choose to speak Draconic, and Elven
