Kelsenon Empire
The Kelsenon Empire was the great human empire that flourished for nearly 1500 years and encompassed most of the continent of Alrahon. Under the Kelsenon Empire, lands were united, learning and prosperity flourished, and cultures mixed freely. Most today see the Kelsenon Empire as the golden age of humanity. The Kelsenon Empire was ruled by an Emperor and administered by a Senate, but corruption and decadence in the halls of power lead to the Empire beginning to crumble.. The Empire collapsed 174 years ago after a series of wars, disasters, and invasions known collectively as The Hundred Years Chaos. The Kelsenon empire provides the basis of the Common Tongue and the shared culture most of the region displays. Former provinces of the empire declared their sovereignty and independence during this time, forming the bulk of the Young Kingdoms that flourish today. Former provinces of the Kelsenon Empire include Coralton, Calyeron, Corsasia, Baradan, Myir, and many others.
