Mostly descendants of the tribal leaders united by the First King of Idrial and Idrial’s ruling body. They have a variety of duties and regional powers from looking over large stretches of lands, cities, and ports.
The Houses operate in a very similar way to country clubs and corporations. They are not ruled by blood, but by merit and wealthy… and often nepotism. Each House controls a portion of Idrial’s trade and economy, from mining to shipping. Some operate in multiple cities, while others oversee regional trade.
