Ark City is the name of hold ran by the hardholder Tao. Before the end of the world, Ark City was an oil well and refinery. Now it’s just a heap of rusty metal and broken souls.

After the apocalypse, the oil spewed from the well, and created a giant oil lake which circles Ark City on every side. Tao has built a small bridge to cross the lake. Because of the slow but present evaporation of the oil lake, it often rains an oil-water mixture on Ark City and the surrounding areas.
