In your players’ defense, the word ‘taint’ becomes permanently hilarious once you hear what it means from my friend yesterday.

Very, very nice campaign. Anyone mind if I steal some of the layout? No? Okay :D. (My Dex bonus is -1.)

I’m one of many checking out your campaign site, and I’m really impressed. What really blew me away was your world map. As an amateur digital artist, I’ve tried to do similar things, but they never look anywhere near as good! How did you get your mountain ranges to look like that?

Wow, sorry about the triple post too, OP wasn’t responding…

Just wanted to say thanks for your awesome layout and let you know that I stole your code for creating the div tags for my wiki pages. Thanks! :)

Gnunn, I have been so engrossed in your interrogation post I totally forget how I ended up at your site. But I love it. The campaign sounds like a blast and the logs are so well written. It takes me away.

And I love the layout and especially the site index. I’ll be sure to check out your comments as well as ChaninsawXIV’s to see how I can improve my site. I’ll definitely be coming back for more inspiration. Nice job.

Hey Grunn,

I’ll throw in my own applause as well. You’re “site index” concept has been an enormous help to many here at OP (I’ve seen several other sites that have made use of this organizing system). In fact, while the user interface of my site is different from your own, in designing this interface I was striving to achieve the simplicity and intuitiveness of your site. Thanks for sharing your innovations with this community.

Cheers,

Glad you like the site! I really had no experience with Textile and only a minimal knowledge of HTML when I started building this wiki. Learning how to snazz up a site ultimately boils down to experimentation, patience and prodigious use of Google to search for advice on how to program certain things.

If you are interested in adding some code to your site, I would highly recommend checking out ChainsawXIV’s FAQ thread on the forums. I have contributed a couple how-tos and some code samples for some of the elements on my site and there are lots of links to useful templates and bits of advice.

Your campaign is well put together, looks good, and has plenty of great content. Your contributions to the community are also great. What really sold me though? Pantomiming Catfolk bards from the land of Luulz… I can has the awesome? I think so!

Your comments on the forum were so helpful, I wanted to drop by your campaign and see what other good ideas you have. And I am impressed! This is an absolutely beautiful site, and you have overcome the interface limitations of Obsidian Portal quite nicely with your graphics and index sidebars. 5 out of 5
