Favored of (Bahamut/Tiamat)
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: favored are proficient with all simple weapons, with light and medium armor, and with shields (except tower shields). Although a favored is not proficient with heavy armor, wearing it does not interfere with her spellcasting.
Spells: a favored casts divine spells drawn from the cleric spell list. She can cast any spell she knows without preparing it ahead of time.
To cast a spell, a favored must have a Charisma score of 10 + the spell’s level. The difficulty class for a saving throw against a favored’s spell is 10 + the spell’s level + the favored’s Wisdom modifier.
Like other spellcasters, a favored can cast only a certain number of spells per day. Her base daily allotment is the same as a sorcerer. In addition she gains bonus spells per day if she has a high Charisma score.
Unlike that of a Cleric, a favored’s spell selection is limited. A favored begins play knowing four 0-level orisons, and three 1st-level spells. Just like a sorcerer, a favored gains one or more new spells each time she levels up.
Upon reaching 4th level, and every even numbered favored level after that, a favored can choose to replace one spell she already knows with a new spell of the same level, and must be at least two levels lower than the highest level favored spell she can cast. She may only exchange one spell at any given level.
Remember a favored need not prepare her spells in advance. She can cast any spell she knows at any time, assuming that she has not yet used up her spell slots for that spell level.
Breath of Life (Su): at first level, a favored gains the ability to channel positive energy into a breath weapon. She must choose whether to emit it as a 30-foot line or a 15-ft cone, once her decision has been made it can only be changed with a ritual that requires 100 gp per HD of the Favored in rare herbs and offerings.
As a standard action, a favored may emit a breath of radiant posiplasma that brightly illuminates everything in the cone and casts shadowy illumination 5-feet around that.
The breath weapon heals living creatures of (1d4 + Con modifier) points of damage, and increases every five levels thereafter (2d4 at 5th, 3d6 at 10th, 4d6 at 16th) to a maximum of (5d8 + Con mod) at 20th level. Undead caught in the blast must make a Reflex save for half damage (DC 10 + class level + Wisdom modifier). Anyone caught in the blast is also dazzled (no save) until the beginning of the next round by the blinding flash. A dazzled creature takes a -1 penalty on attack rolls, Search checks, and Spot checks.
A favored must wait 1d4 rounds to recover her breath of life before using it again.
The light created by the breath of life lingers for a number of rounds equal to her class level.
Patron: At first level, a favored must choose which draconic deity has favored her, either Bahamut or Tiamat. This determines whether the favored gains Sense Motive from Bahamut or Appraise from Tiamat as a class skill and whether they radiate an aura of Good or Evil.
Exalted or Vile Presence (Su): At 2nd level, a favored soul is more influential when interacting with people of the same faith. A favored gains a +2 (exalted or vile) bonus on Charisma when using any skill that treats Charisma as the key ability, but only when interacting with people who worship the same deity. This bonus increases by +1 at 4th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 13th, 14th, 18th, and 19th level. A favored soul gains one-half of this bonus (rounded down) when interacting with anybody who is within one step of their deity’s alignment. When making Use Magic Device checks, this bonus also applies to magic objects that are divinely created or intelligent objects with alignments that match her own.
At 3rd level instead of gaining a weapon focus, you grow claws that deal damage (1d6 for medium creatures, 1d4 for small, and 1d8 for large). As a full attack, you can make one primary natural attack with each of your claws or you can make a secondary natural attack with one claw when attacking with a melee weapon. The claws are treated as magic weapons for the purposes of overcoming damage reduction.
A favored gains the Dragontouched feat as a bonus feat.
In addition, you can choose a sorcerer spell (rather than a cleric spell) as your newly learned 1st level spell. As long as that spell remains on your list of known spells, you can treat it as being on your class spell list for all purposes.
At 5th level, a favored chooses an energy type (acid, cold, electricity, fire or sonic) and gains resistance 10 against that type. At 10th level and 15th level, the character gains resistance 10 against another energy type.
At 7th level, the favored gains a metabreath feat that she meets the prerequisites for as a bonus feat.
At 12th level, you can learn one additional sorcerer spell as if it were a cleric spell. This spell can be one of your newly learned 5th- or 6th-level spells, or you can replace an existing known spell with a new sorcerer spell of the same or lower level.
At 17th level, you grow draconic wings that resemble those of your deity and can fly at a speed of 60 feet (good maneuverability).
At 20th level, you gain damage reduction 10/epic.
