Previously in Ferelden…

After escaping the jail cells of the capital city of Denerim, the heroes were hired by a company called the “Eastern Zephyr Trading” to escort them through the hills of southern Ferelden towards Vintiver. However, after an evening of drunken stupor, the heroes were robbed of their purses by the merchants, leaving behind only their weapons and clothing.

The heroes traveled to a small farm just outside the village of Vintiver and were attacked by a pack of blight wolves. After defeating the wolves, they searched the farm to find a female Dalish elf, barely alive, hiding out in the barn.

The heroes were soon confronted by an angry mob, led by the Vintiver blacksmith Coalan. The mob demanded the elf woman be turned over to them, but the heroes quickly convinced them otherwise.

The heroes decided to bring the elf to the village, in the hopes of reviving her.
