Much of the work taken from the following history sections has been only lightly modified from its original form in the Sword & Sorcery Studios production of the 3.0 version of the Ravenloft Campaign Setting.
I do not intend any challenge to the intellectual property of Sword & Sorcery Studios or of Wizards of the Coast, and I hope that no such challenge will be inferred by the owners of such property. I repeat it here as a proud showcase of the talents and genius of the authors whose work I respect so deeply; if any such challenge is perceived on the part of the owners of the information, all copied information will be removed immediately and with deepest apologies.
Another Disclaimer
The information presented in the following Character Creation sections is taken from Sword & Sorcery’s Ravenloft products, particularly the Ravenloft Campaign Setting (RLCS) and Ravenloft Gazetteers (RLG1-5), in addition to, of course, Wizards of the Coast’s Dungeons and Dragons Player’s Handbook (PHB), Dungeon Master’s Guide (DMG), and Complete series handbooks, as well as from Green Ronin’s Hamunaptra setting.
The only bits of all this that I have created are the modified flavor text boxes that justify the presence of certain classes and their origins and sponsorships in my campaign’s setting. Please don’t get mad, folks… Thank you for all your hard work and creativity.
