Having lost his true love in battle, Connor McMillian decided to set out to the Greek Underworld and to bring her back. No power would stop him, so with his trusty friends, and after some dedicated research by Simon, they discovered a prophecy that would allow them to pass into the Underworld after they collected for items. Using Dmitri’s new compass, they set out to find the gateway to the Underworld. Travelling through Death Valley, California, they discovered within a cave, a giant. Apparently bound by Hades to guard the gateway to this Underworld, he was chained to the throne therein. After some bargaining and questioning, he was set free by Connor, and agreed to harm no mortals in this realm.

They later exited, and found the giant arguing with Hades regarding his newfound freedom. Hades relinquished his hold, and the giant promptly attacked his erstwhile benefactors. After a pitched battle, Finn, Connor’s dog, gifted by Lugh, sacrificed himself, taking a blow for Connor. The group dispatched the giant, and discovered the first of the four relics.
