Oerr’lia, once the crown jewel of the ancient elven empire, is now a ruined world built on the destroyed remains of a magnificent past. The Oerr’lian Empire was the first empire to span worlds and stood well into its fifth decade. That is, before the death of there King Kambreil and the empire was left without a rightful appointed heir.

The Oerr’lian Empire would go ungoverned for many decades, until the actions of a single prince and those loyal to him began a course of actions that would wipe their race clean from the gathered worlds and bury their gleaming monuments beneath the cold earth to be almost forgotten.

You stand now in the present, as the last vestiges of those fatal events begin to unfold. Will the forgotten legacy of this great empire be brought to light or will it lie entombed within the earth, unable to impart its wisdom upon those who need it most?

Only time will tell.

Setting Glimpse

The Oerr’lian Empire stands no more, unless the half buried ruins beneath the bustling cities of today can be counted as standing. Left in the wake of destruction of the empire, the world has gone through many ages bringing it to its current. This worlds once great past is almost forgotten, save for a knowing few scattered across its breadth, now it is known as Rhimraath. This new place, has become a turbulent world prone to chaos and wars. These events seemingly heralded by catastrophic magic forces dubbed by Wizards and Scholars alike as LeiSurges. These waves of magic erupt, causing freak events in weather, topography, and climate changes often bringing about the chaos of war or destroying entire nations.

Unable to predict when these events will strike or what their malevolent forces will wrought, Rhimraath is a world torn and in constant recovery. In the wake of the last LeiSurge, the war of Eberron breached Rhimraaths shores, spilling the fighters of Eberrons’ Last War across the unprepared provinces.

During the ensuing battles against the seemingly unending invading forces, a group of adventurers rose and with their combined efforts they where able to seal the rift between Eberron and Rhimraath. These adventurer’s would then be know as heroes and take up the mantle of the Order of Sidrael.

Today, 62 years after the LeiSurge Rhimraath has begun to recover and economies and nations begin to prosper and flourish. Throughout this period of growth, the Order of Sidrael has grown, taking up an intermediary role in those governments as an arm of justice in all lands. Whether it be a call for aid in war or to serve as negotiators of peace, the Order is ever present in it’s vigil.
