I thought the series concluded nicely, everyone. Had a great time tonight! The Maven’s regeneration at the hands of the Silence was unexpected, but totally dramatically appropriate timing. Sorry you lost the red hair, though… Guess the Doctor doesn’t have to be jealous anymore! ;) I’ll look forward to continuing the Doctor’s adventures with you all in our next series, in the later half of the year!

I know the feeling, Stephen, we’ve had a blast. And I’m glad to hear what we’ve been doing has given you some inspiration for he equally awesome Star Trek Late Night… feel free to run with it! :) As for continuing on for a long time… When I conceived this campaign, I wanted to do two things: 1) make sure it could fit in the show continuity, and 2) stick to the series length format of the BBC show. This means the campaign would finish in 12 or 13 ‘episodes’, so we’re coming up on our series finale. I do intend to run another series of Doctor Who; however, I will be waiting until the mid-season final of the next BBC series, to see what new fodder I have to work with. We’ve got a few excellent plot threads established now which I hope to conclude in our next series, in a way that would, hopefully, make Moffat & Company proud! :) Once again, thanks for making this campaign one of your favorites!

Sadly, after this week’s session we have 1 more session before we’re done for a while. This has been such a great campaign though, and I will be anxiously awaiting its return. Wintermancer really knows how to throw a twist in there that even I (as a huge fan of the show who is therefore able to predict a lot) don’t seen coming.

Particularly awesome session tonight, everyone. I really enjoyed it. Glad the twists in the final act hit like I hoped they would! I enjoyed your reactions… especially the Maven’s. :D
Looking good so far, I cant wait to see what happens next. Dont take too long of a break. Personally I would have just put the campaign right into the cthuhlu one and turned it into a true sci fi horror fest. But then again the Doctor vs Cthulhu-like entities would require some heavy lifting and might not play as good as it sounds. Still the thought of the Tardis landing on Ry’leh sounds like a real interesting adventure. hmmmm… I might have to do that one myself. lol
Thanks! We have been having a blast with Doctor who. It is loads of fun! Our “mid-season finale” was session six, and good timing… Because we had to take a break for October in order to partake in our annual Halloween themed campaign, this year a Cthulhu game called Night of the Haunter. Doctor Who resumes the first Thursday of November and we are all anxious to get back to it. I will be trying to rush up adventure logs as soon as I get a breather! Thanks for being our fan!

But then I’ll have to wait WEEKS for my drink! Seriously though, that’s a completely legit reason for postponing, as sad as I will be. We better play gamma world though. :P

Okay guys, if Shane ends up not being able to make it this week I’m thinking that since we’ve reached the mid-season break, instead of continuing play with Shane absent, we can postpone for a couple weeks to give him time to get everything squared away with the newborn. Thoughts?
Thanks! This campaign came to fruition spontaneously, but I’ve wanted to run something in this setting and rules system for awhile. It’s been very fun so far! :)
As do we. :) But meanwhile, we will be playing Misadventures in Time and Space, a spinoff of this campaign. :D
I await the next series with much anticipation.

This campaign gets better with each visit. I hope you guys keep it going for a long time. I may even borrow a few things for my Star Trek Campaign
I still can’t get over what happened. So many thoughts going through my mind. The beginning of the next session should be very interesting.

I think that was a great session back. So mad that I have to miss next week, but I’m looking forward to the week after. :)
It’s funny you should mention that, Stephen! Elfmaiden and I were just discussing the other day how awesome a Doctor VS Mythos episode would be.
Don’t worry, we have 1 session of Night of the Haunter left, then it’s back to Doctor Who. :)

Don’t worry, you can still come over on Thursday for a Sonic Screwdriver. :)
