Mike calls Corbin up and tells him that we have a covert specialist to join the team. He sends a dossier about Bhob who is a stealth and intrusion specialist with some hacking ability and protective of his privacy. Corbin lets the rest of the team know and Bhob shows up the next day. Alex puts in a good 18 hours of reading manuals and Kristine spends time trying to synthesize the drugs from the Kronin ship.

Alex goes to visit his buddy ahkmed and gets sent to Sector 8 Green 2, to get checked out for his new “problem” – Visiting Blackdog tavern and around the corner is Icarus Implants. He meets them and they discuss his “sensitive matter”. He goes in for the better faster stronger package which is in stock and Alex gets to choose his “package”. He chooses his attachments and proceeds to get his “upgrade” for a decent price. While he is down on station he hears a bit about a psy school that trains young people in paramilitary use of their powers located somewhere in the sector. He also finds something about colony worlds that are a little more accepting of cybernetics and some of these worlds almost view it as a sort of badge of honor.

The next day Major Corbin and Doctor Kristine go to meet the new guy, Bhob. We introduce ourselves and lead him to the ship while giving him a brief rundown of what we do and who we are. We decide to go visit sector 05.01 which is on the edge of our ddrive on the edge of Drasal space. We let mike know where we are headed. He says it sounds good and is willing to provide more information about some of the sectors that are on our map.

When we get back he asks if we can go find out more about the machine race on the edge of our space. He has heard that they build bodies for purpose and jump from body to body. They seem to be individuals rather than a collective. Mike says he is more interested in them than anything else.

We give the crew one more day of shore leave so that we can get what we need. Major Corbin goes to visit Ahkmed for ammo, but Ahkmed sends him to his cousin Omar for Arms and Armor where he peruses the selection, but sets aside a few items for later purchase at Ahkmeds. Bhob looks around the station to get used to his surroundings, Doc goes looking for medical equipment. Bhob heads down to Yellow sector 5 & 6 (residential) and starts looking around for a local watering hole. The bar is frequented by mostly locals and station workers and he is noticed and given the stink eye but nothing is said. The bartender gets him a drink and questions him about his reasons here. He says he is an employee of Syndai (the company that runs the station). He implies he is in information retrieval and the bartender says he will be working with Mr. Kung. The bartender recommends that you stay on his good side but he seems decent considering his line of work. He seems to have a code of Honor even though he is second in command of a “certain element”. He is expected to be more ruthless really.
