Present Date: 3220, 50th Year of the Fall

Year 3170 – Fall of Aelthion Empire, Beginning of the Vampyre Plague.

Year 3173 – Establishment of Northshore Landing on the site of the former Northshore Aelthion Military Outpost. Former Captain of the Outpost, Kiphan Alvison elected to lead the settlement, and construction of the outer city walls begins as survivor from surrounding areas slowly trickle in seeking refuge.

Year 3179 – Northshore Landing city wall completed. With the city protected, Kiphan Alvison and the Northshore Guard turn to securing their Island, and begin relentlessly hunting the Vampyre beginning the period known as the “Slaughtering of the Damned.”

Year 3193 – Hailed as a hero, Kiphan and his guard slay the last known den of vamyres, and the Island is declared a safe haven. Though the occasional vamyre attack continues to occur from time-to-time, the island remains relatively free of the plague, and the Northshore Guard makes quick work of any that happen to infiltrate the settled region of the island.

Year 3194 – Seeking supplies that the local environment cannot provide, Kiphan commissions the building of the Watcher’s Den on the northern shore of Alvison’s Haven at the Islands nearest point to the lands to the north, and stations a contingent of guards there. The Den serves both as a watch for migrating survivors from the north as well as a waypoint for organized travelling parties called “seekers” who are appointed to venture into the dangerous northern lands to retrieve supplies and resources. Though many do not return from their venture north, enough make the dangerous trip and return with enough supplies to make its continued use worthwhile. Only those who are enlisted in the Northshore Guard and properly trained are assigned to be Seekers.

Year 3195 – Arrival of Saryena Vanyss to Northshore Landing, and her marriage to Kiphan Alvison.

Year 3196 – Birth of Kresh Alvison. Retirement of Kiphan Alvison from role of Captiain of the Northshore Guard to spend more time with his wife and new son, appointing of Nordred Rythgar as captain of the Northshore Guard.

Year 3199 – As Northshore Landing begins to crowd, the village of Zjarn established ten miles northeast of the Landing with hopes hope of growing it to a secondary city, but soon the trickle of survivors from the north slows, and the settlement never expands much larger than a village.

Year 3206 – Assassination attempt on Kiphan Alvison by Nordred Rythgar, the former captain of Northshore Guard, Break in the Northshore Guard resulting in the formation of the bandit gang known as the “Black Flame”, Birth of Aryanna Alvison, Death of Saryena Alvison, Kiphan Alvison once again resumes duty as captain of the guard when, Cathion Imar, his appointed replacement for Nordred, is found murdered by the hand of the newly formed Black Flame.

Year 3210 – Frequent raids by the Black Flame begin. The raids target mainly supply caravans coming from the Watcher’s Den to Northshore Landing. The raids never attempt to breach the Northshore Landing city walls, though there are occasional raids forced on the Village of Zjarn.

Year 3216 – Kresh Alvison assumes role of captain of the Northshore Guard while his aging father focuses on more of an administrative role in maintaining Alvison’s Haven and Northshore Landing.
