The cat-headed goddess of magic and healing, Annura is the wife and sister of Kassen and the mother of their three children. She is the keeper of many secrets of the universe, whispered to her by Lord Star. She is the patron of wizards and other arcanists, and associated with the pursuit of factual knowledge and research; some of the largest libraries in Nalliana are those of her temples. She is not, however, thought of as the source of arcane magic, just an exemplar to its practitioners. Like the elder of her two sons, Nathu, she is always eager to solve problems, and many of the myths featuring her have her in this sort of role, including when she tried to purge the chaotic nature from Nathu and accidentally created the evil trickster god Vass. She invented sutures and healing magic when she was impaled with nine spears at the same time while pregnant with her son Ciral during the invasion of heaven by Ruiloth and his son Craynon. Her priests are often multiclass wizards (or mystic theurges) and are often engaged in record-keeping. Her lay worshippers are often also wizards and other scholars.
