Without revealing too much, it would make a lot of sense for:

  1. The Captain to have some business and bargaining skills
  2. The Medic to double as the Science Officer, or one of the System Operators
  3. The Cook to double as one of the System Operators or Navigator
  4. People actually be decent at the roles assigned to them, rather than just having a single rank in whatever skill their role represents

The crew will be filled out with employees for any roles not taken by Heroes
