In 1995, a previously unassuming and small Caern of Visions run by a highly reputable Uktena Theurge Athro named Reads Signs Clearly underwent an unexpected and powerful transformation.

The caern swelled to many times its former size and power. The bawn came to encompass over one hundred square miles, making the caern one of the geographically largest caerns in the Americas. In addition, all Garou (and many humans!) who spent any time in the caern experienced life-changing revelatory visions, many of which included predictions of the future and deep insight into one’s own life. Lives were changed in an instant. Garou abandoned their auspices and their packs to join new ones. Ronin Garou found new purpose. The spirits of the greatest totems could be seen walking in broad daylight.

A small army of Garou descended. Reads Signs Clearly became an Elder of the Uktena at this time and retained great influence over what was to come, but a multi-tribal confederation formed, with some representatives from almost all of the 13 tribes (not included the Glass Walkers or Bone Gnawers, who had their own caerns nearby). Upon the defeat and redemption of the corrupted Avatar of Rattlesnake known as Draco, and the re-sealing of the God-Bane known as the Storm Eater, the caern shrank down to its normal, small size.

Three months before the Battle of Phoenix, the caern resumed its larger character, and returned to small size after the Apocalypse and the defeat of Set.
